Sorry. Sarcasm. As I’ve been critical of the coaching for several years, speculation here has been that I either wanted the job when Waggoner left and lost out to satterfield or have a kid on the team who isn’t playing. Neither close to being true.

Answer the question. What are his strengths/positive attributes as an HC? Didn’t get an interview? No, it’s the other preposterous suggestion thrown around on this board — I have a kid on the team who is riding the bench

Other teams can overcome this but TC cannot? All schools are dealing with the new generation of kids. Or is it worse in hartsville than elsewhere? Or is the coach not able to inspire and motivate the kids?

One name I’ve heard thrown around is Chad Evitts.

What do you view as his strengths? Or are you admitting he’s not head coach material by saying “thankful to have him on their coaching staff”? In addition to the on field sloppiness, he doesn’t seem to be building a program that the kids want to play for. Very low numbers in 2022 dressing 21-22 players for some games. Kids quitting during the season. Now three transfers. Post above says only 13-15 kids going through off season workouts. Will he be able to keep the young talent at TC?

When will Clint retire? Would hate to waste the upcoming talent with the current leadership of the program.

Yep. I posted about this a year or two ago when they were in the same region as Watertown and Trousdale. Fallen in more ways than one as enrollment used to be 1500+ and they had a great track program and very good basketball and football.

I’m curious on that as well. Did they get advice from the Watertown admin (at least those counting students at Watertown prior to the current cycle)? They reported 503 for this cycle and I thought in the prior cycle they had almost 600. Quite a drastic drop. When is the last time they have been 2A?
