  1. Listen no excuses for the Monterey boys, they didn’t bring their best to a game that mattered. Hats off to Oneida. They kicked a_ _ all night.
  2. You are right, but computers are controlled by people and that’s where they fail us. My inability to input numbers correctly, weather by mistake or on purpose, is why not all computer ratings are correct. So take it the MHS game with the Tn Heat. The numbers make it look bad. But throw in starters didn’t play the second half and some eighth graders played would account for why it looks worse than it really is. It’s all a variable that’s just hard to predict to say one team is better or worse. I just hope it’s a good game. Good luck to the Oneida players!
  3. Sounds exciting. We will certainly have our hands full. We look forward to the matchup. Yes I will be there. We will have to meet up. I do radio for the Monterey Sports Network.
  4. Hey Spike, we have a host of kids that can tote the rock. One has hit 1k yards this year and another that’s close to that. Got some lanky receivers. A defense that has several all state players. 53 and 10 live in the backfield. We are excited to get to play i Oneida this week. Good luck to both teams.
  5. Sorry for that Pujo it auto corrected to pump. Go figure.
  6. Pump, where are you. Monterey is on I-40, about 14 miles east of cookeville.
  7. Well there kids, what did you expect. Apparently we just are not as good as the almighty Waverly. Congrats on the win.
  8. Not sure about that running clock. We lost one tonight that was within our grasp.
  9. Yeah, I think the state should look at classifications. It’s tough as you know to take a small school and play up a class. You guys have a solid group of boys. Good luck they rest of the year.
  10. We are essentially a 1A school. We are 7 kids over the limit. Hats off to the Waverly boys, I believe you had to earn it. Good game, physical ball game.
  11. That’s not realistic. What’s the score now?
  12. He’s typically a terror on the defensive side of the ball. He is in constant pursuit. This will be a good test for Monterey as they have just this year moved up to 2A. You’ll have lots of interested fans watching this game. Traveling with the family so I can’t be there to welcome travelers properly.Bring a jacket if your traveling up there. Good luck.
  13. Sounds like some real confident fans. Maybe the cats will just lay down and let you have it. If your lucky. Good luck, wish I was going to be there. If you want to watch it live. Log on to YouTube and subscribe to Monterey Sports Network. It will be broadcasted live. Please pray for that little number 10 for Monterey, hope he gets to see the field.
  14. MHS picked a bad night to play bad against Stone. No one looked good. MHS bounced back against Rockwood. Next big test is Oneida.
  15. No it's not. The truck horns were more intimidating than the football team. Clay takes this one.
  16. I was told the qb #2 got hurt in the Sweetwater game and wouldn't play. He didn't play the first half and only played defense when he did play. He definitely wasn't at full strength. He probably didn't need to be in. I can tell you rockwood has a lot of speed. #’s 1,4,9 had more speed than we've seen this year. They could be a nightmare if all cylinders are firing. #4 played qb and had two nice 40 years throws for receptions.
