  1. I'm pretty much in agreement with you on the Henry Co. vs. Powell rematch and 10 year reunion. This is one heck of a run HC is on and it lands them to Chattanooga. Roll Red Roll!!!!! Henry Co- 24 Page- 7
  2. Alright Springfield fans, I have called this rematch way back after the NE win in October and here we are the week of the rematch. It was a much needed win against NE and yes, we gave up 40, but scored 44 to win. A win is a win and sometimes they aren't pretty as this one wasn't but it started the current win streak. For the record, you guys struggled against Portland and pulled away in the 4th quarter and we demolished Portland. Again, those games don't matter and we aren't basing anything on our NE game nor your game against Portland. Right now, we are both 2-0 and the previous records are irrelevant at this point. These young men are focused and determined to do what they have done the last 4 weeks. They are clicking on all cylinders and they will win this rematch with a statement made on your home field. No disrespect to the Springfield team, but HC is playing great ball at the right time of year to make a run to Chattanooga. Roll Red Roll! HC- 35 Springfield- 14
  3. Springfield, here comes the BIG RED!!!!!! We ready, we ready, we ready, for y'all!!!!!!!
  4. Excuse me for stating where it's been in past years, but East TN in Chattanooga the first weekend in December. I'm not saying HC will get there, but the end goal for everyone is to be playing that weekend. HC will be in the 3rd round looking for some Yellow Jackets to destroy.
  5. Yes, HC is back and back stronger than ever! I stated 2 to 3 weeks ago that these young men are focused and ready to make a run and will be seeing Springfield in a rematch in the 3rd round, providing they beat Memphis Central this Friday. At this point, we are all 1-0 and making a run to be 4-0 the weekend after Thanksgiving to have a trip to Cookeville the first weekend in December. At this point and time, it's 1 week at a time and they will take care of business and beat Munford this Friday night, 42-14! Roll Red Roll!
  6. Definitely will not be a repeat from 2019. HC is back and rolled big time against Portland. HC wins 49-7! These young men are ready to make a run and will FIRED up to demolish DC on Friday night. 100 points in two games, this Offense will score at will and the Defense will be ready and prepared to shut DC down at all costs. Roll Red Roll baby!!!!!!
  7. No Sir PPride, don't have a kid nor relative on this team. Roll Red Roll!
  8. This has been a very tough season without a doubt starting with Summit but this can be turned around quickly as it did with the win last week at NE. I feel like these young men will make a statement against Portland and heading into the playoffs. Let's also take into consideration of all the injuries with star players as #17, #3, and now #4 with others playing through nagging injuries. I will set the record straight when I talk about athletes, as athletes comes in all colors, so I'm not referring to black, white, or yellow. Truth be known, I'm Caucasian so there it is. #17 was by far the real deal running back this year and he went down with an ankle injury then #35 young man stepped it up BIG time with spurts from #4. There are athletes on this team in all colors but I just stated facts about what's going on as being a standout player myself for HC. Play the best players, bottom line. I can go on and on giving out shout-outs Offensively & Defensively but that's not relevant right here, right now. #37, keep doing your thing at LB, you're killing it. We end the regular season tomorrow night giving Portland way more than they want. The second season starts Nov 5th and I see these young men rolling into Springfield in round 3 taking them down on their home field.
  9. HC- 35 Portland- 21 First of all, a much needed win last week for the young men from a confidence standpoint heading into the play-offs. Now let's talk a little football 101. The Offense exploded and came alive last week against North East. After weeks of the Defense holding things down somewhat, they gave up 40 points last week. If everyone is seeing what I'm seeing, going back to the Tillman game, they found the weak spot in our Secondary at one of the Safety positions. Last week, NE found the same weak spot so we decided to move the one Safety from the left side to the right side in the 2nd half as if they wouldn't figure that out. So what does NE do, they throw to the other side where the weaker Safety moved to and we had no answer. When the Boyd player went down against Clarksville NW, we should have replaced him with another athlete but that wasn't the case. A smart opposing Offensive Coordinator can see when a player is moved from one side to the other and keep exploiting the side of the weaker, smaller Safety. The coaching has to get better in that aspect and replace an athlete with another athlete instead of catering to a Senior with no athletic ability as you have several athletes on the sidelines which you refuse to play due to their class status. I said this the last post, it doesn't matter what year an athlete is, if they are better than the upper classmen, they deserve to be on the field rather than catering to a Senior because of politics. As a coach and heading into the playoffs, I'm playing all of my athletes to make a good run heading into what you call a new season with everyone basically being 0-0 starting November 5th. Roll Red Roll!
  10. I'm a HC graduate and love following the Big Red football games but this is as bad as it gets for HC. I'm just going to say facts about what's going on and what everyone else is seeing. When we had Coach Gaddis, he didn't care what the last names were for the players and he played the best players to give his team the best chance to win. We have a major coaching problem and bad coaching decisions made Offensively. That team has way too much talent up and down the sidelines with most of it being on the sidelines. It shouldn't matter if you're a Freshman or a Senior but the best talent and players should be playing instead of having to wait for the Senior to leave and graduate. If I'm the Head Coach or the Offensive Coordinator, I'm putting all my playmakers on the field at the same time instead of a couple talented players with this group and another couple talented players with another group. Just bad coaching and bad decision making and it's time to do something differently because what is being done isn't working. I will say since 2016 the head coach has been blessed with great talent bailing him out producing winning seasons and now it's caught up with him and it seems that now they're having to coach and can't get the job done. The best in the game today is Nick Saban and we all know if his players aren't getting the job done, he will shake things up without being afraid of what the Boosters will say or think because it's about winning games for his program and his players. Pee Wee football coaches don't get paid to lose but middle school and above coaches get paid to do a job. The bottom line, it's time to make changes.
