  1. I recall 2-3 years ago hearing something similar about Calhoun, Gregory, Gunter, Atwood, etc. But you go ahead and cling to that hope.
  2. Upperman screams second round elimination. Again, this LA team is really awful, and they hung in for 3 quarters.
  3. Livingston is one of the worst teams in Tennessee. I'd be concerned.
  4. So, a DoS who wants good academics over athletics and you guys want him gone? Hilarious.
  5. To be perfectly honest, Upperman recruits the heck out of Putnam, and it has been a practice in Basketball and Football for over a decade. The Mcwilliams transfer is a used phrase in Putnam county and Caine and Shanks have caught onto and have been using it recently. There is also a few kids from Jackson, Smith, and Dekalb who are playing at Upperman. Academically, the hs and middleschool has become a warzone because of stuff like this, but athletics wise, it's created a boom for sports.
  6. Not sure if you've seen TC lately, but even RBS ain't a guaranteed win.
  7. Dude is mediocre. He's not bad, but he's not great. Nowhere near coach of the year dude. Plus, knowing who you are, he's a close personal friend to you, so a little bias there. He's no Mcwilliams, or Riddle, so settle down over there.
  8. 2 players fight over the ball, same story all season.
  9. and out goes lebanon, some run... best coach in tn right there
  10. Upperman head coach would love to play the haile champs. Set it up. Let's see how big of a gap.
  11. This Upperman would beat any Haile Boys champ by 50. It's just another level.
  12. There is not a single game in JCH in the past 3 years that has come anywhere close to the games Upperman MS had last week. So you guys can keep on with this nonsense, but anyone who has seen both, knows.
  13. No, the girls side has not been better, you are being ridiculous. Did you watch the tourneys for the girls the past 2 years?
  14. Ha, they wouldn't be playing right now. Dream on. Nope, I watch jch, the quality is poor. I mean geeze dude, 30-40 pt blowouts each round, sad..
  15. Yeah, the legit post season is TMSSAA. JCH is when you don't wanna play the big boys. The quality of play is ridiculous at JCH, it's like watching playground ball and a thousand turnovers, I watched a girls team last year where for a solid half the only person dribbling or shooting on one side was a single player. No passing, just dribble up, fire, and that team won it all lol.
  16. Schools do not want to have to pay for certified refs. Schools want complete control over their schedule and want to avoid other schools who could mop the floor with them ruining the personal of being a good athletic program. Schools do not want to require what TMSSAA requires from schools and admin as far as dues, recordkeeping, admin attendance, facilties etc.... I honestly can not fathom you trying to tell people teams don't avoid competition on every single level in TN. Have you even paid any attention to BB or FB in the past decade? Jesus, just hang around Wilson Co, and get an education on how teams avoid competition to say they are good teams, MJ and Lebanon are a good start. You lost all credibility with that line. Be gone.
  17. Schools that are not in TSSAA and TMSSAA choose not to. Mostly to not have to compete and not have to be held to standards such as certified refs, and having admin personnel on site. It costs next to nothing. Sounds like your school is just areducking and dodging. And saying only big cities can is idiotic, Pickett and Clay is TSSAA, have you seen Pickett county or Clay lol.
  18. When your state Championship is you beating 3 teams who live within a stones throw of you... Yeah, guess I'm 5. Haile is a joke, and shouldn't even exist.
  19. Some of the teams you mentioned never will, they like pretending to be champs with weaker opponents.
  20. Haile is supposed to be for not TSSAA teams, and TMSSAA is for TSSAA teams. Haile is kinda a joke recently because of all of the mismatches and blowouts. Plus Haile winners talk about how they are state champions when they beat 3 teams from within 30 miles of them, lol. Some teams choose to stay non TSSAA just so they don't have to compete on an even playing ground, and can still have a shot at calling themselves state champions.
  21. MJ has been awful a while, so has WCS. Cookeville is class and will run to the semis, and Lebanon is an easy out, and not a team any decent team should worry about, undiciplined, selfish, and already imploding under the massive ego of the players and coach.
