  1. They still match up very well with both teams. Against McCallie it was 33-32 going into the final match and their guy was up 6-3 before he got stuck. It will come down to who gets the right matchups.
  2. It’s a toss up between Baylor, McCallie, and Ryan. Any of the 3 could win it. It’s close between all of them.
  3. McCallie will absolutely drill CBHS. Not sure about Baylor vs Ryan. Could be a toss up now. It will be close between McCallie/ Baylor/ and Ryan. Boyd wins D2 small.
  4. Thats the dumbest sh*t ever. The bottom bracket is a cake walk. Nolensville would have won the bottom and they aren’t even in it.
  5. Puckett had to have weighed in over 134 to bump all the way to 144.
  6. Villers had a good showing at 132 taking 5th. He’s wrestled Roark close. Roark lost to Reep for 3rd. Not sure if Reep has got that much better or Roark just isn’t as good as he once was. Maybe it’s from the prior injuries but just hasn’t progressed.
  7. I mean if Desselle had surgery in March it’s only been around 6 months. That’s a fast rehab.
  8. Predictions 106 - Cordero. Just feel like he’s wrestled tougher competition to date. 113 - Tran. He beat him twice last year I believe 120 - Uhorchuk. Should be one of the best matches of the card 126 - Uhorchuk. Not sure they have wrestled in high school. Just feel Ethan has wrestled tougher competition 132 - Little. Not sure how long Roark has even been back on the mat. 145 - Askew Again not sure Desselle has been back on the mat wrestling 152 - Deane. I believe Deane has beat him in prior matches. 160 - Fowler. Just feel like Fowler is an overall better wrestler 215 - Szymborski. I say Lucas but I know he plays football and not sure he’s getting a lot of mat time.
  9. Really what kind of credibility does OW award hold anyhow. I do know a lot of people would love to see some of these matches. Just to name a few. Surely someone could make these happen. Hatcher and Chittum seem to do a good job of making marquee matches happen. 113 - Uhorchuk vs Jakob 120 - Dupill vs Terrell 126 - Little vs Uhorchuk 132 - Lipsey vs Roark vs Uhorchuk 152 - Dupill vs Sturgill vs Fowler 170 - Szymborski vs Stacey 182 - Brenot vs Alvarez 220 - Fisher vs Atwood
  10. That would be 6 months from basically now. The doctors usually say 6 - 12 months.
  11. So if we were blessed with a single division in TN who would be your State champ at every weight? 106 - Phillips (Baylor) / Cordero (Cleveland) Comes (Seymour) 113 - Bond (Baylor) / Jakob (Dobyns) / Uhorchuk (Signal Mtn) 120 - Calvin (Ryan) / Terrell (Bradley) / Dupill (Greenville) 126 - Reep (Lakeway) / Little (Summit) / Uhorchuk (SignalMtn) 132 - Roark (Ryan) / Lipsey (Bradley) / Uhorchuk (SignalMtn) 138 - Askew (Baylor) / Desselle (Summit) / Hunley (Halls) 145 - Deane (Ryan) / Belcher (Bradley) / Mason (Greenville) 152 - Sturgill (Baylor) / Fowler (Cleveland) / Dupill (Greenville) 160 - Bronson (Christian Bros) / Norman (Dobyns) / Magness (Harpeth) 170 - Bowers (Christian Bros) /. Szymborski (Cleveland) / Stacey (GreenHills) 182 - Alvarez (Baylor) / Brenot (Clarksville) / Smith (Red Bank) 195 - Trainer (MBA) / Medina (ScienceHill) / Lowery (Greenville) 220 - Fisher (MBA) / Todd (WilsonCentral) / Atwood (Trousdale) 285 - Fisher (MBA) / McDonald (Maryville) / Wolfe (PigeonForge)
  12. I just need some clarification. Is the Ty Bryant girl really a boy?
  13. 106 - Tran(FARY) over Phillips(BASC) 113 - Hardman(BOBU) over Bond(BASC) 120 - Calvin(FARY) over Frazier(MBA) 126 - Ropski(CHBR) over Gobbell(FARY) 132 - Helton(LKCH) over Roark(FARY) 138 - Askew(BASC) over Gumlick(LKCH) 145 - Tisdale(BASC) over Deane(FARY) 152 - McGehee(MUS) over Sturgill(BASC) 160 - Bronson(CHBR) over Wimsatt(BRAC) 170 - Bowers(CHBR) over Oberlander(FARY) 182 - Alvarez(BASC) over Moore(MBA) 195 - Trainer(MBA) over Smith(CHCH) 220 - Fisher(MBA) pins everyone 285 - Gentle(MCSC) over Fisher(MBA)
  14. 152 - What Rutherford isn’t beating McGhee nor Tisdale. I actually think Tisdale beats McGhee this year. 145 - That weight could go a lot of different ways. Toughest weight for sure. 132 - Helton wins easily. Don’t think you will see Roark this year.
  15. Team Scores 1st. - Union County. 215.5 2nd. - Father Ryan. 209.0 3rd. - Bradley Central 202.0 4th. - Cleveland. 192.0 5th. - Eastside SC. 187.0
  16. Top 4 teams. 1. Cleveland - very good dual team and find a way to win. No holes in their lineup and the guys that aren’t stars do a good job of not giving up bonus points. 2. Bradley - definitely good and kept it close with Cleveland but not sure they would have beat Summit. 3. Summit - very solid team. I think they would have beat Bradley but not sure they can make up enough points to beat Cleveland. 4. Father Ryan - definitely not as good as they were last year. Not sure they would have been in the top 4 had it not been for their weaker pool. I see they gave up 18 points on forfeits but not sure their starters that go in those spots could make up the points to beat any of the top 3 teams.
  17. Top 4 teams 1. Father Ryan looked dominant. Full lineup except 195. Looks like Roark was missing. Tran at 106 will be hard to beat. Hammers throughout the lineup. 2. Bradley is very solid from top to bottom. Looks like they had a full lineup with the ability to bump and move a few if needed. 3. Lakeway only brought 9 but those 9 were all studs. They were also missing a stud in Eversole. Not sure of the others missing 4. Pigeon Forge finished 4th with only 8 weights. Didn’t have any light weights.
  18. Not sure if Bennett is over hyped because the Father Ryan kid beat him last Saturday.
  19. I definitely think Sturgill and Hilton are that next wave. I also think Roark, Uhorchuk’s, Askew, the younger Dupill, and maybe the younger Bond could be elite.
  20. I want some of that bet. Terrell or Uhorchuk will beat Corday.
  21. Caleb and Eason (with a good leg) would be a great match. Corday however doesn’t beat Terrell nor Ethan Uhorchuk definitely not this year.
  22. At 106 I think you could take the Top 5 wrestle them 5 different times and the outcome would be different every time. 138 I’d love to see that match up. Shires wrestled really tough all year. 160 Dalon had more credible big wins to me. I really wish Brenot had wrestled a tougher schedule but that’s not his fault.
  23. I think Eason on a good leg would compete for the Top spot.
  24. I agree but I only included the Top 2 from each division. I think Desselle is easily in the Top 3.
  25. 106 - 1.Bond 2.Dupil 3.Uhorchuk 4.Walker 5.Calvin 6.Hicks 113 - 1.Terrell 2.Uhorchuk 3.Corday 4.Ford 5.Gobbell 6.Ramos 120 - 1.Uhorchuk 2.Little 3.Eason 4.Helton 5.Heflin 6.King 126 - 1.Roark 2.Bond 3.Bradford 4.Lipsey 5.Cable 6.Shriner 132 - 1.Roller 2.Sturgill 3.Askew 4.Laxton 5.Wemawamunga 6.Hawkinson 138 - 1.Dendy 2.Shires 3.Lipsey 4.Gumlick 5.Kimble 6.McLemore 145 - 1.Mason 2.Ivy 3.Norman 4.Russ 5.Jameson 6.London 152 - 1.Dupill 2.McGehee 3.Tisdale 4.Hylton 5.Roaten 6.Cook 160 - 1.Heckert 2.Dalon 3.Brenot 4.Alley 5.Cockman 6.Parcel 170 - 1.Cannedy 2.Bowers 3.Pyron 4.Gibbs 5.Kinsey 6.Watts 182 - 1.Gonzalez 2.Alvarez 3.Curtis 4.Chew 5.Dussler 6.Littles 195 - 1.Harper 2.Boyd 3.Atwood 4.Medina 5.Cavins 6.Hubbs 220 - 1.Fisher 2.Garriques 3.Clevenger 4.Gaines 5.Todd 6.Campbell 285 - 1.Davis 2.Howard 3.Williams 4.Stutts 5.McClure 6.Vaughn
