Also coach V has been at oakland 6 years.. guess what year was oakland first title under creasy? 6 years ago when vetetoe showed up with him. he had jacoby and several dogs before that and didnt win it. Now 6 years later they have played in 5 of the last 6 state championships..winning 4 How can you say he isnt ready? 14 years coaching total/ only Coached football 10 years and has 5 State Titles. 4 in 6A and 1 in 2A. That 50% of the time winning a state championship!

Blake never called a play either and was DC out the gate lol He has been the head freshman coach for oakland and has lost one game in like 5 years. dont know if you know it or not but they average 35-50 freshman a year and he has 4 coaches under him. I guess him yelling at 10-12 year olds isnt what they need? you sound like one of them out of towners. Cause aint Nobody that has ever put that gold helmet on worried about a coach yelling lol. you obviously didnt play here! And as for dobbs he adopted a very young team that over achieved as freshman and sophmores and when he left they hired a guy whos son was a stud and was a Mr. Football Finalist. Only blake cant win with a Mr. Football Finalist. He cant even make the playoffs with one!

You sound like a smart feller, it's not a hard pick. He lives in Hartsville, and he has more rings than anyone there and he has a son coming up. I believe i heard in minit mart yesterday he is coming back to coach middle school baseball this spring, because they couldn't get anyone. I'd love to see it happen, and if not I'm sure we miss on another good one with a son like we did Dobbs. I truly believe he is what TCHS needs! But if I'm being honest there are a lot of candidates better than what's happening now. and as far as Middle School I believe he would make sure it was in good hands since his kid will be there the next two seasons. just my opinion! Everywhere he's ever been he has won! Have you ever seen him coach in the last 10 years since he left TC? Well, I have and let's just say you can definitely tell who he has learned football from! Creasy and Clint have many years invested in him!

The last decade or more our TCYL has been ran by someone not from hartsville and it is showing. They are passing it from out of towner to out of towner! Sammy Dunn Tried to run this year for president and they shut it down. Only board members vote lol and they are all out of towners. Sanders is ex president.. had it forever Rivers is current president Hull is VP Sweeton is the New incoming President (None of these guys have no clue about Burma Road or what it is to be a yellow Jacket) If you want your program fixed it's going to take someone that isn't scared to hurt feelings and someone who is willing to put in the work! All Three levels (Youth, Middle School & High School) need to be cleaned out. This is the facts! Like it, hate it, love it or should i say theGOODtheBADtheUGLY!

Just calling it like it is, if Blake was half the coach the clint was we wouldn't be having this conversation. Stop trying to cover up for him, he was soft when he played and He's soft now. Its softball season, and that's where he belongs in the coaching world! 316 have you talked to any players or coaches that's played or coached with Blake??? obviously not, because I have talked with a bunch of them, and they all say the same thing! you need to change your name because stone cold would not approve of your buddy system, he spoke the truth, and that's the bottom line!

I'd be trying to get a new coach instead of praying the portal is going to be booming. it's not the players, it's the coach not having them ready to play. They don't grind anymore like we use too. Hopefully they are hitting the weight room harder this year. Blake is lazy and definitely didn't get clints work ethic. we have had several teams with weak classes at TC, but they have always competed because they were some warriors. Clint didn't baby you and clint was the hardest working motivated coach ever, and his players followed him. Did we like it...NO, did we hate Clint at times... absolutely, did we respect him for making us MEN... absolutely! Did we love watching people lay down and melt when we were thumping their heads...absolutely! Come on Blakey Boy time to RTD... POUND THE ROCK... After the worse season in a half century, what is expected of the Yellow Jackets in 2023? Has there been any change? I heard that QB/RB Calhoun suffered a re injury of his shoulder in basketball? if so wishing him a speedy recovery and hopefully he will be 100% by August! I sure hope that the Purple and Gold can bounce back! Praying they get back to the old days of just out working everyone on a daily basis!

Creasys right hand man from Oakland applied that won 6 titles with him at TC and Oakland, Don't know if he's got a shot but he definitely should get an interview in my opinion. Hes a prodigy of Creasy and he knows Creasys Offense inside and out. only negative is he doesn't have football HC experience. But has been HS Baseball HC at Lebanon and brought them out of the dumpster very quickly being the district coach of the year there in one year, so that tells me he can handle a program. Was hoping that Trousdale was going to bring him back this year but obviously they are going to keep Clints son in the saddle. I'd love to see him at GHS and get a shot to bring the Wave back.
