  1. Being down in this case would mean not on top which may be the case from what my sources have said......... But you know Mr. GoldenBear, the last time they DID NOT finish on top they missed post season games altogether......... As for myself I pray to Ching Dai that season repeats itself in '23!!!!! Unfortunately, as much as I pray that happens, I fear I may continue to look like the rest of the fools who continually wish for their demise.......
  2. It doesn't appear that Mister Wynn is serious about any position, Ching Dai knows the Knoxville area (Mavericks included) needs some good coaches
  3. Not sure this was Tennessee's best lineup either, especially at the upper weight classes.
  4. I wholeheartedly agree on Sayne & Pittman being great leaders & both of them would be in my 2nd tier of top coaches in the state. I don't understand the admiration for Idlette or Cates & at best would have them in my 4th tier of top coaches in the state. Both of them benefitted immensely from having accomplished kids developed through their youth programs & outside of Moisey coaching a few of the NE TN kids that could go to Kingsport I don't see either school restocking their team with similar talent.
  5. Thanks Samson! Your team did a great job last season as a beginner program, Cleveland especially! I am certain other schools looking to build their girls team can take note of how the both of you built up so quickly. Consistency is the key, too often there are teams that build up then fade away in short order but based on what my eyes have seen so far I would say you and Coach Bosken are moving the needle in the right direction. Good luck to you both!
  6. We shall see my friend, but I see Rossview winning the team duals again with Knoxville Gibbs being close behind. Clarksville, Tullahoma & Cleveland should be good too but each of them lost some seniors who won a ton of matches. Cleveland does have some young talent coming up though from the middle school as does Maryville. The Maryville girls fielded one of the youngest teams in the state with mostly Freshman/Sophomore and in 2 years they will be really tough to beat if they can hold onto everyone.
  7. Great job! I wager my ladies from Collierville will have more than one in the end, but the Cleveland girl at 107 graduated. There is also a good group of Freshmen coming up as well, it will be very interesting to see where the power shift will be this season!
