  1. Unfortunately, we’ve needed a speaker upgrade for years now. It’s embarrassing some times. Smh
  2. Dang… that’s cold! I know we have a few stinkers but I guess I’m nose blind. I didn’t know it was that bad. Lol I’ll make sure and wear some deo. I wasn’t going to since I put some on Tuesday but just to be safe.
  3. What is the record between Gville/ Watertown?
  4. Man, I hope so. I know we would sure appreciate it.
  5. I think everyone is overlooking Gvilles run game to some degree. Most will struggle to run on SC I think. Their D is stout against the run. Musgrove will have some big games this year.
  6. We’re proud to be from GHS and they’re proud to be from SCHS. Some get a little emotional this week and to some it’s just another game. Fact is we’re both proud of our communities and schools and most of us are friends and probably won’t be hostile towards each other any more the rest of the year. If you’re not from Smith County you may not understand it. I’m glad every year when this game is over. Hopefully we’ll get to see an exciting, injury free game.
  7. I don’t know a single person on this side of the river that would like to be called Smith County High School. Hickman High School maybe. Just my honest opinion.
  8. This may be hard to believe for some but, most older Gordonsville people don’t call Smith Co “ Carthage” to piss them off or to offend anyone. That’s what it was when we were coming up and it’s just a hard habit to break. Same as us sometimes calling Trousdale “Hartsville” or Clay County “Celina”. I don’t know when it became so offensive but it has caused people now to do it purposefully to agitate. I’m honestly tired of hearing about it from both sides. This game draws a big crowd and you get bragging rights for a year but it’s not a region game therefor it’s not anywhere close to one of the most important games either team plays. I just hope it’s an injury free game and the team that wants it the most wins. Good luck to everyone!
  9. I’m not going to lie, Friday nights loss was a hard pill to swallow. Been watching these boys since 3rd grade and have always had very high hopes for them. Maybe too high. I believed this was our year. After letting it sink in a couple of days I have come to the conclusion that y’all whooped our butts in every aspect of the game. I can live with that. We’ll be rooting you on the rest of the way. Go Dawgs!! My son has one more year and I already look forward to next season.
  10. Last night was the first time I’ve seen it called in high school. I’ve seen it done several times this year with no penalty.
