She can't be a teacher. she was hired as our head coach a few years ago but has no certification. She might be a t/a or cafeteria monitor but has zero certification to teach.

White Co will not play Cookeville because of the girls program!!!!! Boys coach would play but the WC Girl's coach won't play anybody he doesn't have to play. That game has been played for as long as I can remember. Upperman and Cookeville should play every year, would be a great gate and great game. Upperman girls coach is famous for dropping teams that beat her, Cookeville was 30 better than my Lady Cats last year and we almost beat Upperman in region, huge huge difference in 4A AND 3A. This is where AD'S need to step in and make these games happen. I can promise you that Cookeville wants both games.

I saw Franklin Co roster posted yesterday. Best player from last year left them and it had 9 freshman and only 5 upperclassmen. Franklin Co girls are dropping teams from their schedule that they have played for 50 years because they can no longer compete, so so sad for that program. I am amazed that the AD and administration would allow that to happen. I think we will be fine, we have our best player Bobo back and Melton will be a force on the inside, we won't have a lot of depth but we can still make a run at a district title.

No, they are still in full swing, open gym, tryouts, workouts, you can call it what you want but under no circumstances can 8th graders participate. How can you be a high school coach and not even know the rules smh, I also heard yesterday that Franklin Co is now down to 4 returning players, they may not even be able to field a team next year.

Well it has taken the new coach 3 days to start cheating lol, Stotts had the 8th graders over and was in the gym with a clipboard running tryouts. You can't have your 8th graders until school is out smh. Tssaa was contacted and I'm sure they will lose summer days or HOF games just like the previous coach did his 1st year. Why can't coaches play by the rules or even worse how does high school coaches not even know the rules. Ignorance should not be an excuse to cheat.

I disagree about the tear down part, the last coach went .500 over a 4 year stretch and they were very supportive of him. I hope we keep each other on the schedule because it is always a good game, we lose 4 seniors including our best player in Nutt and I know you guys lose a lot as well. I heard Franklin Co is dropping everyone tough from their schedule and adding Cascade and a bunch of small schools, looks like the AD would make them play a tougher schedule. Warren Co had a very talented 8th grade group and should be good again in a couple years. Hopefully the new coach will stay around and not quit on her kids when the talent drops a little like Lippe did.

It's gonna be bad whoever gets the job, I still am amazed that the previous coach left it in shambles. He should have stayed 1 more year for the younger kids. He went .500 with the most talent Warren Co has had in 40 years, I can't imagine how bad next years team would be with him at the helm. Team gets down and he quit on them, left the struggles to someone else, that is how the world works these days smh. He should have taken notes from the Boyd coach, he could have quit after last season but I read yesterday that he stayed 1 more season for the younger kids and so it wouldn't look like he was just after wins, kudos to him. Sounds like a great guy with high values.

I would hardly call 16-16 and a 1st round region loss a Home Run for the boys lol. Your girls need to look at Coach Mccmurtry from Tullahoma. He was a consistent winner in his tenure here. Lippe leaves with a 61-57 record including 2-10 versus white co and 1-12 against Coffee Co. He leaves the program on life support, I watched them play AAU the last 2 weekends and they are very very bad. Good coaches groom their middle school programs and that is exactly what Cody did for Tullahoma and i've heard Lippe would not work with his middle school coaches at all. I saw warren play 2 times last year and they were the most undisciplined team I have seen in years, flagrant fouls, tripping, pushing and horrible body language and now when this .500 class of seniors leave the building ( which .500 is very above average for warren co ) Coach Lippe bails on his program smh. Help is down the road and I promise Cody would not quit on his team or leave the program with no chance of winning like this coach has done!!!

Who is your team apsu???? Coffee beat us twice and are a very good team, we played them pretty good at tullahoma but they throttled us at home. We beat Cumberland Co and Lincoln Co beat White Co by double digits. The same Lincoln Co team that Coffee beat by 40 twice. Stop bashing and just let teams play. By looking at schedules it looks like to me that 12 teams Coffee played are playing in a region semi game tonight. So plz tell me who your team is and lets break down their schedule, i guarantee you they don't have 12 region semi opponents on their schedule. Yes Cleveland could beat Coffee, they both are very good teams. Blackman, York, Warren Co, Lincoln Co, Tullahoma, are all very good teams and Coffee Co is 9-1 against them. So tell me your squad and lets go over their schedule please.

lol your a jealous moron, our jv girls (tullahoma) were there saturday and even played a starter from our varsity, we lost lol, franklin co was there saturday and also started a varsity starter in jv lol and Coffee was up on them 34-8 when i left, Coffee and Page were by far the best 2 teams on the floor that day. Keep hurling your insults and looking for ways to bash coffee. What team do you root for? I would love to dissect their schedule the way you you do. Coffee and Warren are both top 10 teams in the state so it should be a very good game.

LMAO - Must be a disgruntled parent or just a plain moron, Whitwell and Moore Co are the only 2 1-a schools on the schedule and Coffee played both in another schools tournament. They have a top 3 schedule in 4-a and played Lincoln Co 20-2, Blackman 22-2 and us (tullahoma) which they play every year and always will, They haven't lost a district game in 5 years with that mediocre coaching lol, 34-0 against the likes of Warren Co ( a top 10 team), Cookeville a top 5 team, Lincoln Co, Lawrence Co, Stewarts Creek, and have 6 district championships in a row. My daughter plays at tullahoma and I wish everyday she had went to Coffee, she just might next year. They beat York by double digits and who I think is a top 10 team in the state regardless of class. Have they went past region, no they haven"t but they got eliminated by riverdale, blackman, oakalnd and so on. All in single digit games that could have went either way. They lost to Blackman by 3 the year we went to substate and Blackman beat us by 40 in region that year lol. You don't win 50 district games in a row by being mediocre, PERIOD. Do I think they will go to state this year, prob not, if I had to bet on it I would pick Bradley Central to win region on their home floor and I would pick Blackman to win substate on their home floor. Warren Co is very good and played us as well as Coffee, 1 close game and 1 blowout, so Warren or even Cleveland could beat Coffee on a given night. Does not mean they are trophy hunters or a weak team, they are very very good. This senior class at Warren Co is suppose to be great and i hear all this praise about them and all the hate for Coffee, after looking on Coach T, this vaunted Warren Co senior class is 54-56, not even .500 lmao and this trophy hunting mediocre Coffee team's senior class is 112-11. We will proudly wear the red and black next year and hope to continue this mediocre run.

I was at the game against Blackman and the basket was 100% good. I saw the AP poll today and Bradley, Coffee, Blackman, and Rockvale are all top 10 in the state and warren, stew creek and cleveland are all very good, only 2 of those will make the state, doesn't mean the others choked just means its a loaded region. Yes we played Coffee to 6 at our place and it was a great effort by staff and players to slow it down and make 25 passes before we started our offense, only chance we had. If we had played Coffee's schedule we would have at least 5 more losses prob more, york would destroy us, Lincoln would beat us, Blackman would beat us, Central magnet would beat us, Shelbyville almost beat us and they are on life support smh

The district championship was not the substate year, we won the district championship then lost 1st round of region, Coffee won the 1st round of the region that year as we were still celebrating our lone victory smh. Coffee went further than us that year is my point but we still celebrate that victory and most don';t realize we lost the next game and Coffee won.

We are 1-16 against CC the last 6 years LOL, iF PLAYING GOOD TEAMS MAKES YOU BETTER WE SHOULD BE GREAT BUT THEY OWN US, We have had 3 different coaches and Coffee dismantles us every year. I a realist, we caught a huge break and won 1 game after Coffee beat us bad all 3 games, they are just better, last year this year, next year.

Bradley at Bradley will win the region - PERIOD, That will put Coffee at Blackman for substate, I got Blackman by 5 at Blackman.

Yes we made a sectional a few years ago after Coffee Co had beaten us by 80 in 3 games. The only reason we made it is because Oakland upset Blackman and put them in Coffee's bracket. Coifee had already beat Oakland by double digits that year. I'm a realist and yes we made a sectional but Coffee was way better than us that year and caught a horrible break. Bradley, Blackman, Coffee, Cleveland and even Warren have a chance to go to the boro this year, to say coffee should be in the boro is ridiculous, Bradley to me is the best team and then Coffee and Blackman is a dead heat. All 3 are very very good teams. In order to make state Coffee will need to beat Warren in district championship, Cleveland in semis, bradley in finals and then Blackman in substate, very possible but not likely, odds say you will have a bad shooting night 1 game in 4. Hardest road to the state in TN. Coffee beat Lincoln by 50 and in my opinion Lincoln has a better chance of making state than Coffee. I also agree the numbers thing is irrelevant, you need 7 girls to play basketball so numbers don't matter. I do think a lot of kids dodge 4a basketball. D-1 players drive by Cookeville to go to Upperman. People turn down the Riverdale job to keep their kid in smaller easier divisions, Some people are happy winning the Poulan Weedeater Bowl, that's just today's mentality!!!!

Bearden has the 34th ranked schedule in 4a, Coffee has the #1 ranked schedule in 4a, Coffee Co played York and Blackman in November and December while you played East Hamilton and Volunteer, You will be in the boro again come state time no doubt, On the other hand Coffee, Bradley Blackman are 2-3-4 in the state and cleveland, warren, stew creek, oakland are all good teams so 5 good teams will not make state. That does not mean they are not good teams. TCU made the championship game and we know how that turned out. Instead of bashing high school programs why dont you say good luck and just see what happens.

I went to the Coffee-Blackman game last night. Both are very good teams, the girl going to Purdue was on fire early for Blackman, she hit 5 3's in the 1st half. Coffee responded and it was tied with 50 seconds to play. Coffee missed a 3 with 5 seconds to go to tie then fouled. We play Coffee Friday night and if we play like we played against White Co it will be a great game, if we play like we played against Warren Co we are in trouble.

I read the official accident report yesterday and it said " player was hurt running a 5 on 4 practice drill. A PRACTICE DRILL - 5 on 4 means we are using more than the 3 players allowed. Coach for Tullahoma was in attendance directing drills and even running plays and player was hurt running practice drills. This is cheating, period. Practice starts October 31 this year and we got a 2 month head start on the field. Its worth losing a week of summer practice or whatever slap on the wrist we got last year when Cody was practicing.

I watched an interesting video this morning, looks like our new coach is still playing by the college rules. Full blown practice and a good player got hurt smh.
