That was made official today. He coached at Hayesville in middle school for a few years that I know of and then was on the high school staff just a couple of years. Hasn’t been coaching too long and never as a head coach in high school so this one will be interesting. I know the administration is a big problem in the school and the job is very unattractive. A lot of wrong people have been trying to get their hands on things the past few years and still are. The people of Copper Basin on the high horses are a big issue and there are a lot of them. Hopefully Graves brings in the right people to help him but it is slim pickings since all the good help was forced out of the program and still aren’t welcomed back by the beloved trying to control it. No idea if he actually knows anything about football but I know small time 1A ball in Tennessee is very different than a lot of places and especially Hayesville so I hope he at least develops an attitude for the boys.

I am alive and appreciate all the concern. I actually just now finished putting out all the fires in the Copper Pan from last Friday. Sadly I have to work till 9 Friday so I won’t be able to make it to meet you fellows. I hope Pirate Tom gets back in good health along with our program. I hate to miss these boys last game this year and I work in Chattanooga so you’d think I’d be able to make it by halftime since it starts at 8est but it’ll be such a bad beating it’ll probably end before I can make it. With that being said we did win Friday against the Atlanta Falcons but is that really surprising? Them Fannin County boys might be getting some transfers soon if action isn’t taken. I just appreciate them boys sticking it out this year and wish them the best.

Copper Basin is the hottest thing since sliced bread right now you think I’m joking but I’m not. We might as well be playing for the Natty because this is for both teams to get a win. I doubt we pull it off if it is a typical North GA team. Can’t wait to go get some hot chocolate in the Pitt next week.

In the 80s I say yes along with probably a few more years throughout time. The top this year is great dont get me wrong but there used to not be private and public or near as many classifications.

It’s bad. 2019 and 2020 was pretty good but last year all the kids that reflected previous times in the Basin amounted to 2 or 3 and they’re all gone now. Along with that literally every coach of previous years has been removed from the program except the head and now the staff is full of little league coaches which shows. The little league coaches and the boys are trying their best but it doesn’t amount to much.

Since copper pan is up against some team named BYE there isn’t much to talk about this week with the cougs which has been common theme this season but I was wondering what are the best games to go watch this week

I know he was good in middle school last year me and my fellow coach from last year was talking about him. I am glad Fitz is showing mercy.

It’s gameday maybe we get out of this one only hurt in pride and on the scoreboard instead of physically so we have a chance to win a game in 2 weeks but I seriously doubt it.
