I agree that Nolan was a big asset to Powell, and I am sure he played a major role with them going to state and winning. However, you can say that about a number of teams. Would they have won state without X, Y, or Z? Regardless, it is 2023. You are talking about a game almost two years ago. I think Powell will surprise some this season. They definitely lost some great players, but I think others are ready to rise to the challenge.

Too many good things going on at Powell right now for him to leave. I really have a hard time believing that he would leave. Money does talk, but he already turned down another big offer during the offseason to stay. I don’t see him leaving after turning that job down.
