  1. I was dragged into this thread. I’m here for women’s wrestling. With that being said here’s my contribution- Reep is the third best state champ at 126, Jarvis little being the best- 152- Dupill, Folwer, then Sturgill last- good dudes, just don’t think anyone is on the same level as Dupill at full speed
  2. I think you misunderstood my original post. A girl trying to be a boy is an issue when they are still competing with girls while trying to no longer be a girl. Not that I think they used to be a boy. I know its name was a feminine name last year, and is now wanting to be considered masculine. Very problematic for women’s sports as a whole.
  3. No difference in doping with steroids, any body enhancement meds should follow the same rules. If a male was caught doing steroids, he would be disqualified. Everyone would be in an uproar. We should be keeping the playing field level. Pro girls until someone might get offended.
  4. Lmao only when someone who is trying to not be a girl is wrestling girls. Do as you please only when it doesn't impact others.
  5. I personally find it embarrassing that the TSSAA can have a Title IX ceremony and then allow a “girl named Ty” to wrestle in a bracket with straight up girls. If you are confused about your gender you shouldn’t be in a regular bracket. An unintentional move happened in the last minutes of a match Gibbs’ Redmond was dominating. An outstanding wrestler hitting a move wrestling hard. The arm was trapped but the slam was no where near as hard as any other slam. The other “girl” started recovery time and was up and then did not finish the match they were losing. If they would’ve been out completely, medical staff would’ve kept them under the tent. Redmond is the true best wrestler at 132 no matter the outcome of that match. Haley was robbed by a person who shouldn’t have been there. This might be a hot take, but this was wrong to the girls in the 132 bracket. Congrats to Haley for being the best 132 in the state for girls. Also, I would’ve done the same as Coach Pittman after the match.

  7. Thank you to those who answered this both seriously and honestly
  8. This is to get a rough idea and feelers on officiating, not anything concrete. Solely to set in motion improvement. Please only leave constructive suggestions on how to better this state, not belittling comments that do not facilitate open conversation.
  9. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/YH3CVDX Please take a few minutes to answer this survey to work toward beginning the process of having competent officials across the state of TN. Also feel free to leave any other suggestions in the comments.
  10. Halls showed up Saturday. Tough team from top to bottom. Impressive not giving up 5 or 6 team points at 126 in the finals vs Signal. Everyone overlooks Halls.
