TWO TEAMS NEEDED for (March 2023) tournament MARCH 24 and 25th NO ENTRY FEE Perry County High's NFHS-sanctioned BUFFALO RIVER SPRINGFEST invitational softball tournament, takes place this coming Friday, March 24th and Saturday, March 25. The BUFFALO RIVER SPRINGFEST Class A/AA/and AAA tournament, celebrating its 15th year, is the only invitational softball tournament in the state, which does not have any team entry fee, nor any admission cost at the gate for fans attending games. The 15-team tournament has TWO team slots available, at this time. Every team plays four (4) pool games, with the top two teams, from each of the three pools, advancing. Games are 75-minute/finish the inning format, with coin flip determining home team. Our 13 teams confirmed (out of 15 slots), thus far for 2023: 1.) Culleoka School (Maury County) 2.) Decatur County-Riverside High 3.) Bruceton Central High (Carroll County) 4.) Halls High (Lauderdale County) 5.) Fairview High (Williamson County) 6.) Tipton-Rosemark Academy (Memphis) (TRA is our defending/2022 champion) 7.) Hickman County High 8.) Trinity Christian Academy (Jackson) 9.) Scotts Hill High (Henderson County) 10.) University School of Jackson 11.) Waterloo School (Alabama) 12.) Houston High (Memphis) 13.) (Perry County is 10 miles south of mile marker/exit #143, on INTERSTATE I-40, near the Tennessee River) The BUFFALO RIVER SPRINGFEST Class A/AA/and AAA tournament, celebrating its 15th year, is the only invitational softball tournament in the state, which does NOT have any team entry fee, nor ANY admission cost at the gate, for fans attending games.
