Bearden just took the best athlete(s) that Karns had. Looking like a rough year for Karns, (rougher than it already was going to be)

I know for sure 4 players from Bearden are heading to Alcoa. It could be possibly even 6. I know for sure there is a player on Bearden going to Brentwood Academy, but they could be another one. Halls and Knoxville Central are getting 2 players, although those players do not wanna be there, so they are trying to go elsewhere aka Alcoa and or AC, but it is unlikely Alcoa or Ac want them.

Fly under the radar only get what you need and who you need.

Bearden's not shying away from recruiting. They hired Brad Taylor, and although it's pretty well unknown, he recruited every year while he was at Bearden and the same for Karns. He was just never able to put a good team together, he recruits just like what West has done, except West has mastered it, go and get what you need and don’t make it obvious by getting the stars from the other side of the state. Brad Taylor was definitely the first to bring that to Knoxville, and it would’ve worked at Bearden if he had never been let go. The problem with Coach Jones is that he recruited like Bearden was a private school, except he never did recruit. Jones knew the system thanks to his father. Jones only got outed because of a mistake by his booster club, but Bearden has the taste of winning at football in their mouth, and it’s not going away. Taylor will probably hire his best bud Darell Keith as a defensive coordinator, and together they will continue the spiral, just not at such a large quantity.

Just heard from a very close friend at Karns that Brad Taylor has informed the administration that he will not be back next year for his teaching position...

So it’s pretty clear who the fans and the community want as the next head coach. Taylor should have never been let go from Bearden to begin with from what I’ve been hearing, he is an alumni of the high school and the football team and has a coaching track record at Bearden. I know the current A.D. and Taylor never got along and absolutely hated each other. Hopefully, these two grown men can put it aside and do what’s best for Bearden. If it’s true that Brad Taylor did apply, which it seems like it is, and he’s the best for the job out of all the candidates who applied, which from what I heard is also the case, this should be a closed case hire. Hopefully, the A.D. doesn’t let the past get in the way of what is best for the team and what the community wants. I was talking to some of my BHS alumni buddies, and they compare this to Tennessee bringing back Bruce Pearl, which I’m not sure Brad Taylor is anywhere near Bruce Pearl, but I guess I get the picture and how the community is looking at this.

Heard Todd Loveday, Sevier county head coach is up for the job. Just won state. Would be a solid hire.

Josh Jones sports bets on his off time and is pretty good at it, he had made a decent living off of it and I guess people on this website think that means he’s a bookie for some reason, i’m not really sure you’ll have to ask someone else but they’ll never tell you because well it’s all BS. Haha

Probably all I know is that the AD just put a massive target in his back with every single coach in the Bearden building. Would team about common knowledge to at least let them know of this ahead of time. Just gives off the message that no one in the building is safe, I have a feeling the AD just ruined Bearden athletics… starting with the soccer coach.

The one who just got promoted, would at least have a coach who’s in the school building.
