Trent Dilfer’s (Mr Classless) trashed his runners up coaches trophy at Lipscomb the year they finished 2nd to Lipscomb. If lipscomb had disciplined him then maybe they would not have spent the last two years on probation. He’s also finding life a little more difficult in Birmingham. They are calling for his head on the chopping block. Hopefully this rumor isn’t true. I just can’t see my folks at Baylor doing this. There’s no disgrace in second place.

It surprised and devastated me. It is going to take me a while to get warm and get over this one. It hurts

I decided to not go up to Knoxville tonight and stay in town and watch LU and Mc. LU changed QB’s and went back to the older kid midway through the game. It was a shoot out with neither team caring to play D. I was really shocked at the attendance. The Blue Tornado fans must have started Christmas shopping early and I am not even sure all the LU parents were there. Maybe 100 total. Have they given up? Hopefully the Mustang faithful will show more interest next year when they get out of TSSAA purgatory for their past sins. Word out of Birmingham is that the old Steelers QB maybe shopping around Granny White Pike for a new house.

Thanks for the update. We don’t hear much about non high school players. Sounds like Ensworth may be the next big thing in Middle Tn.

For those that have seen him tell us about him. Did he just show up like Deuce Knight or has he been in Nashville all along?

Most of the proposals are reasonable. I am certain that we won’t Baylor will not like a couple of those as they seem to be a little bit of sour grapes from our “dear sister school”.

After what I saw last night from Nico he might have a shot. Geez —running out of bounds without at least letting the ball fly towards the endzone.

Absolutely correct. This is what I have heard from the few members of their alumni and fanbase that I am acquainted with.

BA coach was quoted last as saying we were maybe the most talented team he had ever seen. Of course he as been in single A for a while.

This isn’t the TN CB. This is a St Louis team. My Williamson county folks are telling me Lipscomb benched their QB tonight who moved there from Ohio to play for Dilfer. It has become evident that Lipscomb doesn’t belong in the AAA division and they can’t get local games because of the Dilfer effect. Third coach in 3 years. They are loaded with D-1 prospects and have 3-4 former head coaches and college players on their staff but are really struggling. About to get interesting over there in Church of Christville.

This is a little more of what I expected last week but the wind and rain made for deplorable conditions. This should erase all doubts about who is clearly the best team in the state in every classification and division.

Got home about 3 am. Nasty wet foggy drive but not as bad had the game been an L. George McIntyre has a strong arm but physically is really weak. I am doubtful he ever plays for us on the hill unless there are injuries or a mop up role. I know it is a different coach and a weak line but he just doesn’t seem to have a big time SEC mentality

It was windy as heck so neither team could have any consistency throwing the ball. The turf was saturated and slick and I am wet and cold. The wind and rain were blowing sideways. Both coaches played really conservative and I will take a 7-6 win over an upset loss. I was really shocked at a couple of our play calls. The drive across Mont Eagle will be much sweeter. Everyone be careful. I am stopping in the Boro for a burger and shake. Next week’s game will be dandy. Battle of Chattanooga 2024.

Cry me a river about this. No one complained about us when BA and Lipscomb were breaking every rule in the books.
