  1. Weakest schedule... alright Pickett County! Well not to make you look arrogant or anything but name me some. It's always Scott High leeching off of Oneida's talent, always have, always will! Well let's just talk some ball, shall we? First game, Cumberland County, awful team, 3-7, Scott gets beat by 24...lol! Next up, ECCA, Oneida beat them by 13, Scott takes another loss by 14. Next, Clinton, 3-8 but 5A, we'll give ya'll a break, 48-13, Clinton on top... The Kentucky Knox Central, another loss for Scott 24-6, by an average team. Next, Kingston, beat Rockwood by 8, Oneida beat Rockwood by 21... Harriman beat Kingston, Oneida played even with Harriman in an ugly scrimmage... Oh yeah, Kingston 30 point victory over Scott. Tough schedule so far huh? Next for Scott, Whitley Co KY, Oneida played even in a scrimmage, Scott high gets beat 56-32. Beginning to see a pattern here Jim? Up next, Union County, 1-10 team, terrible, beats Scott High, shocker . Up next Alcoa, ok you've now got one team tougher than anyone on Oneida's, but just one... And congrats your seniors scored on Alcoa's 8th graders, anyways. Next, big win! Pickett County, I guess you could say that's a win, beating a free-lance team is apparently difficult now. And last, Austin East, Scott gets beat by 23... Well let's hear it Jim, say something else completely ridiculous. Now if we want to look at Oneida's schedule, I'd be more than happy to break that down and show you just how much harder the Indians schedule is than the Highlanders.
  2. With the current OC I see at least 28 on Scott. ECCA beat Scott high by 2 touchdowns and Oneida beat ECCA by 2, should have been three but for someone reason on the 5 yard line the Indians didn't score... Soft. If you have a different one however, it's a whole different team. Oneida last year was capable of hanging 40+ on just about anyone. Too bad the plays didn't utilize players or consist of more than 4 plays.
  3. I would say with all the injuries it’s more of a toss up but I’d still take Oneida. But if you take last years team with no injuries I’d take Oneida by 40 all day.
  4. Hey how about ya’ll win more than 1 game buddy . Fact is friend, Scott high loves to chirp but they just can’t back it up haha! And I agree, talk is cheap, so let’s put your big mouth into action and win a few more games Jim. In 5 years you all have won 5 games, the same amount as Oneida in 1 bad year! Now yes, some have been good and even great opponents, but don’t act like ya’ll play Alcoa for all 10 games lol! Scheduling Pickett County says enough.
  5. Hilarious post Jim! The simple fact is majority of people here want to play. Just the people in charge won’t make it happen. Again, you guys can talk all you want if you can win more than one game against a freelance team! Diabolical work from them Highlanders. Fact is friend, on Oneida’s worst day, they would wear them Scott boys out. I watched multiple games this year, against horrendous opponents, and you all got the beatdown constantly. See how it’s always Scott county fans talking? It’s obvious who the real best school is here, even on their worst day.
  6. It's just something that's always been taught at Scott High. I really don't get it. You should be cheering on your fellow county schools, but they don't see it that way. Hating on kids the most pathetic thing you can do as a 40-year-old man haha.
  7. Let's straighten this up because apparently you can't read. Majority are not one bit afraid of Scott High. Most want to play, it's just the people controlling scheduling will not do it. Don't act like Scott High is some big bad powerhouse and Oneida is peeing down their leg looking their way. This team is the same team that won a single game last season... I don't get all the hate from the delusional Scott High fans who think they're all big and bad. How good are you truly if you've only won a single game, and that game was Pickett County! lol! Give me a break people. Oneida had a rough last season, partially because of injuries and the other half due to coaching. However, let's not forget when we decide to throw shade that they also won 4 more games than good ole Scott High.
  8. I know much and inferring that everyone here is scared to play is just outright wrong. Now yes, a select few that control the scheduling, I could agree. To say however that all or even most are frightened by Scott High is heinous. Many people here WANT to play. And I can tell you one thing, Oneida isn’t in the shape it’s in because they don’t play a local team. With that being said, I’m all for playing.
  9. Well since you say so, I’ll speak my mind here. And I’ll answer it with one sentence. Do things differently than what’s already tried and failed. Regardless of what anyone wants to say and believe me, someone always has something to say, Oneida has the potential to be a special team. This however, cannot be done without some changes.
  10. I have followed AC very closely the last 7-8 years. I know many people over that way. And by no means do I think Alcoa will blow AC out of the water. I think this game will be better than anticipated by some. Every bigger school that is good at sports gets transfers, that’s just how it is. Great players, great coaches, great community, Hook em! 🤟🏻
  11. We have some absolute athletic freaks, they just need their potential to come out so they can shine. Oneida’s potential is through the roof, but as they say, shoulda, woulda, coulda, never amounted to anything.
  12. I do as well but they’re not looking for any. The board that is.
  13. Well that is baseball, compared to football it’s basically an entirely different group of kids. I just don’t think this statement makes much sense but I can definitely see where you’re coming from.
  14. From what I can tell, most of the kids are willing to work and push themselves/others. I don’t think that’s the problem. However tho, I did say most, I’ve heard some would rather be elsewhere. That’s unfortunate and something no one can control but them. But to say the kids as a whole is a big problem is a terrible statement in my opinion. We all have our opinions and you’re entitled to yours but personally from what I’ve seen and know that’s not the case. Take 2 seasons ago for example, same group of kids as now for the most part, very young team. Most said they would be just another bad team like the year before, and tho the team wasn’t perfect, the youngens still managed to go 7-3 in the regular season, and make it to round 2 of the playoffs. Now do we really think that just magically happened? No, it happened because the young men played hard and worked hard. Again, I think the argument of the kids as a whole is just silly. Now some, probably, but as a whole, not a chance.
  15. This whole ordeal goes beyond just the head coach. There are multiple problems with the program right now. I don’t know much you’ve read of all this but as you might know, a very large portion of kids have either transferred or just quit altogether. It’s just sad these kids never had a deep run in the playoffs, or in the playoffs at all…
