  1. Since my Camden boys never see practice on Thanksgiving week, I plan to ride West for this showdown. I know it will be packed..... but can someone give me an estimated time to arrive to guarantee a seat or 2?? 6:15ish?
  2. i must admit, i thought last night was about to get UGLY there for awhile. but camden fought back and made it a game. huntingdon is going to be very hard to beat when they are running like that. i think camden will most likely win out heading into the playoffs. but they must not let up on the intensity. one slip and it could be bad. playoffs however, its as unpredictable as the weather. people play way above themselves in the games like that. best of luck to ctown.
  3. One thing however that continues to bother me about this season is the articles that appear in the wonderful Camden Chronicle. i mean dont get me wrong they are finally covering sporting news pretty good for BC but i am about tired of hearing how wonderful the coaches are and making it look like the past hasnt been worth anything. ill admit the past 7-8 years the staff hasnt been as passionate as this new group seems to be, but you also have to look at what they had to work with compared to this team. no comparsion. this year is much deeper and just better athletes. i just hope the chronicle can stick more to covering the games instead of constantly talking up the coaches like they are the only ones who built this program. oh yeah and another thing, i know the richardson kid is the son of the owners but come on....if the ball would have bounced the other way he could have scored....is that really needed in the article covering the game.
  4. I am a huge black and gold fan!! i must admit though besides mckenzie this is our real first test. we have proven we arent a average team anymore, but if we ever want to reach the plateau of a huntingdon it must be done this season. looking back in a few years 9-1 will look great but 10-0 is remembered forever. there will be alot on the line friday night at wright field i willl certainly be there. but i still give the edge to huntingdon 33-17. but hey anything can happen....go lions
  5. sounds like a good prediction. i am going to say on a normal night huntingdon is still 14-20 points better that camden. but i just have a feeling friday night will be WILD in the ctown. i am going to say Camden by a field goal from the MAN clay carruth!!
  6. as this game wasnt going to be big enough. now with huntingdon losing to westview, the stangs will be out for blood. but they have to come to the lions house for a huge region 6 showdown. im going to go ahead and clam this to be statewide game of the week. go lions
  7. Tonight Camden will play Gleason at home, i'm predicting Camden wins by about 20 or 30. They are going to be missing their starting center because he's sick but the bench is pretty deep this year so it shouldn't matter much in this game. Agree or disagree.
  8. Don't really know how Bruceton did but they are weak this year. They have some ok guards but they lost all their post players, they will be the underdog most games but will still be ok. and as for McKenzie, they were leading the first quarter by alot, but TCA came back. Mckenzie looked weak but they did just get out of football.
  9. Do you agree with the coaches predicitons for district 11aa? 1. Lexington 2.Milan 3.Camden 4.McKenzie 5.Riverside I disagree with the first three teams but time will tell, what do you think?
  10. Clifton beat Bruceton, TCA beat Mckenzie, Camden beat West Carroll, anyone know about lexington and huntington?
  11. Suddath is playing for Covenent College in Lookout Mountain, GA. They beat Bethel last night by 18. He started and played the first half before he left hurt. he didn't return the second half. He didn't score but like I said, he didn,t play the second half.
  12. Your probably right about the Cagle kid. He just will need some work. As for Shannon, why didn't the coach like him. HE seemed like a pretty good kid. I talked to Coach Martin the other day and he said that bethel had offered Brock the same type scholarship. I would love to see Shannon and Martin on the same team. They both could definately make an impact at Bethel. That would be very exciting. They both seem to love the game very much and play with alot of heart.
  13. Hullings must be really smart. Is Bethel going to give Shannon alot of money. He impressed me with his hard work and determination. Lack of height but he made up for it in heart. As for Franz kid he was the best overall player in the district in my opinion. I thought he would of got MVP but BAin from Camden deserved also. So Cagle is redshirting at Martin. WOW! That really surprises me. He was not really impressive in my opinion but you cant not teach height.
  14. I saw where you said you were from Milan. Do you have any info about the seniors they had? Any going to play college? If not where do they plan to attend for an education. They showed alot of heart everytime I saw them play against Camden. I was just interested in their future. I wish them the best!!!
  15. Does anyone know of anyone from this region being recruited or already been signed? Their were some pretty good players at that region tourny. I know a few could play NAIA somewhere. Players like Hillard Baker-SS, Ryan Wiley and the rest of the BOL seniors, Charles Dobson-HUM, Jason Smith-LEX, Justin Cagle and Kyle Shannon-MIL, Brock Martin-CAM. These guys really looked good throughout the year. Anyone have any recruiting info on these or others in this area?
