From what I've heard...She was out for like 4 weeks and they thought she could be back by tournament or playoff time. Haven't heard in awhile, so maybe somebody has more information

Cocke County has always excelled defensively. It's what makes them successful. They have size and hustle that creates things defensively for them. The lack of a ball-handler showed up against West. Playing West will expose some things that playing Sevier County will not. If Buda can come back and play 100% then they got a chance to push a couple rounds in the tournament.

Sevier County does look to be running away with it

Probably true. They got some alright guards who can be streaky shooters but they don't have anybody to replace Buda. If they take it inside and get after it on defense they will be able to still win some games. Guess we'll see if West can live up to the potential this year.

CCHS beat East last night

What's new in the Imac?? CCHS has been on a slide lately. Losing to South Doyle and Jeff countly lately. They don't seem too interested in playing defense. They won't be running the court if the other team is scoring inside all night. Congrats to South Doyle by the way..#3 is a good player

Yea, she's probably gone for the year. She had been playing really good lately too. This probably kills their chances of beating West because they will press us full court with great athletes. If they can keep getting it inside and let the offense run through Shannon, they can still play at a high level. Also a good chance for Nicole Ball to come in and contribute.

I think conference tournament was supposed to be at Jeff too?

Well sevier county won..CCHS just shot awful and didn't hustle and get after it defensviely like they had. Good to see them still in the game even with their worst game of the year. Sevier has a pretty good team it seems like

CCHS is looking better on offense lately. Actually hit some 3's against Sevier. Hopefully they'll keep it up. It's looking like it will be West, then CCHS and Seymour, then East and Jeff.

Good to see East turn it around I'd like to see Shannon take some more 3's. I think she could make around 2-3 a game. Good to see the other players contributing on offense. Hope they can do that consistently.

I think he has had surgery but i'm not positive.. good win from CCHS and I think if East still had that post they had last year cuz he tore us up everytime even with some size we had last year. CCHS is still a good team..really quick..good shooters..and they hustle. I think losing Brooks will keep them as a first round exit in the playoffs again because he is the 4th quarter guy and best rebounder..They should still win the conference as long as they keep shooting. Would like to see more player step up off the bench tho.

East comes to CCHS Tues night prob the two top teams in conference..CCHS is getting pretty thin lately but have still been playing pretty good.

CCHS beat South Greene last night

Big night from Shannon..I think they would do well running some Iso stuff with her from the top of the key since her jumper is so good from there. It's almost automatic she has practiced that so much.
