  1. Here is my top 9 pick for the season so far: 1. Rain County 2. Rainsburg 3. Rainyville 4. Raintown 5. Raindale 6. Rainberg 7. Rainland 8. Rains Hill 9. Rainwood I may have left someone off this list but I believe the rain will win out!
  2. Everyone at Lawrence County wishes her a full and speedy recovery and good luck at MSCC. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  3. Ootewah did win 3-0, their pitcher did pitch a great game but it was not a one hitter.
  4. Cat's injury is just the type of injury I was worried that metal cleats would cause. I hope there is no long term effects for Cat's softball career. I know some people will say this a "freak" injury but I do not believe it will be the last one caused by the use of metal cleats.
  5. /ph34r.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="ph34r.gif" /> Looks like there may be another Wildcat lurking in the shadows!
  6. We are very thankful no players were injured. This could have been alot worse. Go to this link for more info. http://www.wdxe.com/wdxe.php?rfc=narticle.php&id=10277
  7. I have heard that TSSAA is allowing the use of metal cleats in softball this year. Will this cause alot of unnecessary injuries? Does the good outweigh the bad? I believe there will be more injuries as the result of sliding into the bases and getting the cleats caught in the ground and injuring an ankle or knee outweigh the benefits of getting more traction. How do you feel?
  8. If its all about the wins and your previous post is correct then Meeks has 7 district wins. Andrews of Columbia, Jones of Tullahoma, and Blackwood of Lawrence County all have 8 district wins. Looks like a close race to me.
  9. Allison Blackwood LHP Brianna Beck RHP
  10. Columbia defeats Shelbyville 3-2 Tullahoma defeats Franklin Co. 2-1 Law. Co., Columbia, and Tullahoma finish tied at 8-4. Does anyone know how the tiebreaker will be done. Law Co.swept Tullahoma, Tullahoma swept Columbia, Law Co. and Columbia split for the year.
  11. Lawrence County defeats Lincoln County 10-3 Clinches at least a tie for 2nd place!
  12. Lawrence County 6 Shelbyville 2 Congrats Lady Cats
  13. Should pool games in tournaments figure in a teams won/lost record or should only games played in elimination rounds count. Just wanting your opinion.
  14. If this is true, then how does round 2 go when you have 3 teams in the winner's bracket and 3 teams in the losers bracket. Does one of the teams in the winner's bracket then get a bye? Makes more sense for 1 & 2 to get a bye then 3 play 6 & 4 play 5.
  15. This is not official just my best guess. Coffee Co. 5-0 Lincoln Co. 4-1 Lawrence Co. 2-2 Shelbyville 2-2 Columbia 2-2 Franklin Co. 0-3 Tullahoma 0-5 These standings are based on results posted on coacht. Upsets? Maybe
