  1. Cheyanne Kyle has signed to play volleyball for the Bethel Wildcats. She will also compete for the Track team in the javelin, triple jump and hurdles. Kyle has competed with Precision Track Club out of Nashville under Coach Jan Pippin for the past 5 seasons, qualifying for nationals 4 of 5 years in the pentathlon, triple jump and javelin. http://www.bethelathletics.com/article/1288.php
  2. sorry, i must...irregardless is a word. american college dictionary. BUT, it says not generally regarded as good usage. and i won't call you dummy. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
  3. i understand it. all you have to do is read the sentence. it states he will be there at ALL "other" games. problem solved. on the other post if they do it like volleyball does the regular season champion gets to host the tournament. maybe baseball does the same? when was the last time some of those mentioned won the regular season?
  4. worst - bad or ill in the greatest or highest degree; most faulty, unsatisfactory, or objectionable. that is the way it is "spelt" in the american college dictionary.
  5. i played men's major fastpitch for years. but in our game of softball if my team scores more than the other team we were the winners!
  6. coach has a lot to do with a game but who is playing? coach can't catch a fly, field a grounder, lay down a bunt, etc! aren't the girls on the field the one's who have to get the job done? AFTER the coach puts them in a position to win.
  7. Columbia looked sharp tonight after a rough weekend at Ravenwood. Led by seniors Steffen Pelletier with 15 service points and Ashton Rummage with 10 points, 3 aces and 11 assists. Pitching in with great efforts were Sophomores Cheyanne Kyle, a Ravenwood All Tournament Selection, with 6 points, 6 assists and 11 digs and Marissa Goad with 12 digs. Serving and passing errors hurt the Lions at Ravenwood and that was not the case in this match. The Columbia squad went 66 of 70 from the service line. There is still a lot of volleyball to be played! Look for Lincoln County to come around.
  8. i guess my comment would be...where is the administration? coaches coach! unless they want to pay them (coaches) administrative salaries! /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  9. what about oops - out of position silly
  10. this is true! i think a lot of us have forgotten more about the rules than a lot of the officials now know! that is all i will say about this!
  11. columbia central over tullahoma last night 25-12, 25-20, 25-12. columbia now stands at 12-9 and 4-0. they look as though they are playing well and steadily improving, considering there are no "club" players!
  12. has the jury (composed of the all knowing volleyball fans of this sight) reached a verdict on columbia central?
  13. has anyone see the 7th grade setter at e.a. cox. heard she plays club and her team went to the national tournament. i think she'll be one to keep an eye on.
