I have been to several of their meetings and they have the players come first, community next, coaches last mentality. Now that all of this all but over: Let's get behind Coach Gaddis and the program and start winning some championships. With out the negativity of bruce on staff it will happen Roll Cats!

Oak Ridge ended up with a terrible choice for a head coach last time with Bruce. So the Cats won a few games inspite of him most in the city could not stand his arrogance. He was hired because the AD who was finished and a super leaving thought it was his turn. PLEASE Wake up guys....HIRE THE RIGHT COACH with votes from people who are going to stay here. Take Green off of the committee.

Ron does not deserve the job period. The only thing he does consistantly is blow smoke telling every player the same jive about how much they are going to play. If he can't get a play in time how can he run the winningist program in the state and top 30 in the country?...........GIVE US A BREAK!

Not to disappoint boy the CATWATCH is alive and still watching. No one has ever smacked down CATWATCH and certainly not you. You must not know what you think you do 'cause I do attend games. The Oak Ridge players are having a great year, playing their hearts out and CAN WIN this week! the boy might suit himself by minding his own business. GO CATS!

The Oak Ridge faithfull are gearing up and oh so ready for the BIGGEST GAME in Oak Ridge since the Gaddis era. Both teams bring a wealth of tradition, Oak Ridge has the edge with an incredible 50 plus years behind them. Riverdale, much respected, has earned their honor as of late compared to schools who have been around so long. Bruce Lussier VS Gary Rankin ?? Being the first meeting between the two coaches. It should prove to be very interesting to say the least. Oak Ridge is looking for their first win over Riverdale. Other posts I have read state the Riverdale players have been here before. I must disagree! None of the players from Riverdale have played at Blankenship Field. Oak Ridge has won 85% of their play-off games at Blankenship field! If the Oak Ridge players play their best they should win a very hard fought game. If it comes down to coaching..... ROLL WILDCATS!! WE WILL See you in uniform next week at the state championship game.

region4fan, Thanks for the props! Don't think the catmen are gone or have changed their minds! We just care too much about the players to be a distraction during this season. There are no "fair weather fans" whatsoever. Your ill informed statement is about a multitude of former players, fans and supporters, many of them with state championship rings in various seasons dating back to the 1950's thru the 60's, 70's 80's and 90's.......We will say what we want, whenever we want. I'm sure you understand don't you region4fan. The Oak Ridge Wildcat Players are the best in the state bar none. PERIOD. I'm not going to say anything negative tonight about the "coaches". Riverdale is a class act with arguably the best coach in the state. Gary Rankin has proved himself year in and year out. Much respect. This friday night however, at Blankenship Field my prediction is: Oak Ridge 24 Riverdale 14

ArtVandalay, You are right about one thing for sure! Your Indians have a great coach. Oak Ridge's success has come from the outstanding players this year. These Wildcat players have won despite the coaching. If the game comes down to coaching your Indians are in great hands. Look for several delay of game calls when some how the play doesn't get in the huddle in time. Time management is not so good from the OR OC. Good luck DB! But, the Wildcat's players are going to end your season friday night.

Sirpettus, I can say something about the "coach". Why oh why did he call a toss sweep with 7 or seconds to go with a 2 point lead instead of taking a knee? Booker was knocked out of bounds and that gave them another play... That was STUPID! You all can say what you want about my comments. Remember this is America. People in the know do know I am just trying to help. To the players...Great effort in a wet game condition. WB will win some more games. Wildcats this is bust Farraguts BUTT week!

[Dat don't make u a bad player bro] Oak Ridge rarely goes deep or any direction other than sideways. It has cost the BOYS plenty for years. Sevier County still must thank us for their State championship. I should have ben Oak Ridge that year. I hope the McMahon to Miller connection can continue! GO WILDCATS! Well guy's you pose a great question. Andy Shattuck is very deserving as well! I guess I didn't mention Coach Shattuck because he is one of few OR coach's I like and would hate to see him go. To tell the truth if there was a vote, and we know there is not, I would love to see Coach Shattuck replace Bruce. OK?

Being an OR fan I hope the Clinton football program can get a great Coach to bring back the level it was and should be. My vote goes to Mike Ingle who not only deserves the position but should have gotten it in the first place. Enough said. All of you inbreds that keep talking about Kerr recruiting need to get a clue. If Clinton had a coach like Mike Ingle players would not have to transfer to be part of a winning program. Who can blame them? really, come on.
