Maybe slight upset. I would put wb as 3-5 point favorite on a neutral court. It was a great game last night. Only person that could stop Caden windle was Jason Martin , unfortunately he is a referee and has a vendetta against the young man , otherwise great game by two great teams overshadowed by the poor antics of the karns players and fans. Man those were 2 great games last night!!! Bearden gave Blount a run for all they had , but just fell short ! Oak ridge looked like they were gonna escape until the foul on the 3 pointer that ended up tying the game. as far as the region championship goes. It will come do to the wire I’m sure ( interesting fact about wb , all 4 it their loses they were either tied,leading , or down by 1 with 30 seconds left ) karns is really talented and Blount has the best team they’ve had in 20 years !! David clary did say last night that he thought oak ridge and karns were the best of the region , not sure he was just talking for the homers, because the body of work doesn’t agree with that statement. I do think whoever will host Monday will make it to the boro and the team that travels will have a very good chance also

If karns loses then it go to central , but if they lose and wb wins then it will be at wb… karns has lost 2/3 to Farragut this year but Farragut has lost 3/4 recently

How is that even possible at brand new stadium at a 6a school….Broadcast team won’t be going because of the equipment being in harms way of potential weather . Well I just got the call I was fearing. The Clemmers will be transferring out of wb. Matthew will enroll at mhs and become the starting qb there. Best of luck to him ! Nathan will play 3 sports at eagleton starting next year. Good luck to him as well. Great kids and great family

The coaching hasn’t been great at all but like you said these players are the most talented wb has had since 07. We can’t give them a pass as they have yet to make plays for themselves through 2 games

I don’t recall any returning players that were healthy not making the trip. As far as the lenior city game goes. McGill got beat deep for an early touchdown and they gave him a little coaching I guess he didn’t like . Defense wasn’t his thing (as he never played at mhs) but he was the best wb had on that day.. Monday in the JV game he scored 3 tds. Tuesday he enrolled at mhs, so he didn’t leave right after the LC game

First of all Barney , that was Ridge that lost to Bearden. He then fired himself and Shad became available .. as far as the playoff game at Oakland. WB was 2-9 and no reason to ever play in that game. Some kids elected to end there careers the week before and that was their choice. So had WB forfeited what would you have said then ??
