Tanner Shamblin, #12, was the replacement QB. Only a sophomore, he made better executions and no stupid plays...got the snap and followed through with fakes. If that was the case in the first half, Cleveland's Offensive would have been rolling by the second half. Motown West, could not stop the toss seep at all. Cleveland was getting on average 10 yds a carry on that play in the second half. Trick play or no trick play, a td is a td. Clevelands D really showed maturity when they were deep in their own territory and forced a turnover on downs. That was the backbreaker. With a completely revamped and inexperienced d-line that really stepped it up, Cleveland showed that they have been coached well and have weoked hard this summer. They showed that they are a team to be reckoned with by beating the #3 team in the state, whether it be by ten or ten thousand. A W is a W.
