  1. It is going to broadcast online. The link on the owls athletic page is the standard one that will allow you to view the game starting about 15 minutes before kickoff. The owls choose to use their standard broadcasting network because of the quality and reliability (vs. the unknown of the TSSAA service). That being said, technology loves to break at just the wrong time. I hope that the broadcast goes as planned and all are able to view a "Host of Owls". This is the link to the MUS football Homepage. If you scroll down, you will see the link to the video feed and the pure audio stream. ("http://www.musowls.org/NetCommunity/Football")Both of these are planned to be fully operational for the game. Listen to Barry Ray, Bobby Wade, and Mike Lawhead call the action from Stokes Stadium at Hull Dobbs Field.
  2. Arguably one of MUS' toughest games of the year, will MUS be able to win and/or compete with SP? My thoughts on the game are that if the Owls can begin to execute and hold on to the ball, the game will be exciting and a good competition. Execution is a must though, and the Owls have been off and on two weeks into the season. SP is coming off of a tough loss at Hoover and will be looking for someone on which to take out their frustration. This game is at SP, and promises to have a full stadium. Come for the excitement, stay for the action. SP vs. MUS 2011 edition.
  3. Football forum on http://hsmississippi.scout.com/ "SP-MUS game" is the thread. Thanks that was a good read. Poor coach Pogue. He loses 2 games and the fans are calling for his head. I thought that it was just a great match up. Congrats MUS.
  4. Link? yeah, where are their message boards. I dont read this stuff that often, but in this case i am finding it interesting.
  5. What website is it. I would love to read what they have to say?

  7. Last time I checked no one is supposed to worry about the officials. Players play, coaches coach, and refs ref. I am excited to see the game it should be an exciting match up of Div. II football.
  8. Defense will be a big part of this game. The owls have been coming on strong at the end of the season, so I vote for an MUS victory
  9. Two years ago when the D-II games were managed by the Clinic Bowl committee the BA-MUS game was on Comcast and was shown all over the southeastern US. All of the D-II schools were happy with the Clinic Bowl set-up at Vandy even when it meant working around the UT-Vandy game. This is not meant to say anything bad about the people at MTSU as they were good host at the MUS-CBHS game the next year but as we all know MTSU is not in a D-II town. Not sure how things will change now that D-II is back to two games and the championship games will be played on Thanksgiving weekend.

  11. The new stadium at Memphis University School is one of the nicest that i have ever seen. it has suites, an incredible press box, and awesome sight lines. The press box offers internet and radio connections at every seat, and it is glassed in just like all college stadiums. i have even been to many college stadiums that are not as lush as the one at Memphis University School. all the home side seats are backed, and the feild is closed off by the imposing school building on one end, and a daunting forest on the other. the field is state of the art Field Turf. In my oppinion it is by far the greatest high school stadium in the state of TN.
  12. Memphis University School opens with Class 4A runner-up Melrose, then goes to playe defending 4A Florida champ Nease, and returns home the next week to host MBA.
