    Marco Dailey

The kid is obviously an exceptional talent! I hope he continues to do well and go on to a successful college career. There are so many variables involved, especially the injury factor. I hope he has to the grades to possibly stay close to home and become a STAR for Vandy...ND would be nice too. I'm sure he'd do well taking handoffs from Jimmy Clausen!

Does anyone have any inside information to colleges that may be interested in signing Marco Dailey from Mt. Pleasant? Does he have the grades to go D-1? I know JaMarcus Webster was a great play for MP but he didn't have the grades...Also, do you think he will be a RB or a QB in college?
  3. Yeah Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiight!...A lot can happen between the 6th grade and the 12th grade.
  4. 12A - Columbia Academy, Mt. Pleasant
  5. Game 1 - Mt. Pleasant eliminated Summertown 2-1 Game 2 - Columbia Academy defeated Collinwood 19 - 11 Game 3 - Mt. Pleasant vs Collinwood - ????????? Does anybody have the score of the MP/C-Wood game? The last I heard MP was ahead 7 -0 in the 5th...

    12A Games

    Here's mine: CA (12 - 2) Colllinwood (20 - 0) Summertown (14 - 4) Perry County (6 - 3)
  7. Who were some of the standout players for the game? Were there any dunks? How was the officiating?
  8. There's no question about it that Chris Gordon out of Santa Fe High School has to up high on the list of players that never "made it." He graduated in 2002 and led his team to the Sub-State where they lost to Ezell Harding. What a player! He's probably the best point guard that I've ever seen in the high school ranks. I always wondered why college coaches weren't lining up to give him a scholarship.
  9. One of the refs to call a tech was Mike Roberts. What a sorry excuse for a referee. He is also one of those refs with a grudge who will make bull crap calls just to get back at someone and to stir up trouble. He always wants the attention. There needs to be some kind of evaluation from the TSSAA on referees so that the ones who are terrible at their job are no longer allowed on the court. Of course Roberts has family members on the Mount Pleasant basketball teams, and he has always held a grudge against other Maury County schools. I'm sure that is why mphstigerfan is quick to take up for the referees and bad mouth CA. Hey, mphstigerfan - with all the athletes that walk up and down Mount Pleasant's hallways every day at school, they should win the district title year in and year out - both boys and girls. What are your excuses about that rarely happening? I'd like to hear them.
  10. Do you think the additions of Ruddle and Hammack could hurt team chemistry? They are playinng well now, if other players who have been getting playing time get their court time taken away, it might could cause friction within the team. That could be a cancer to the team. I've seen it too many times.
  11. Tyler Smith is definately one of top 3 players in the State of Tennessee and probably a top 50 talent in the country. He has all the athletic ability in the world. But what's even more amazing is the fact that he still has a lot to improve with his game and has the potential to do it. The problem I see him having in the future is when he moves up to the D-1 level in college he will either be playing the 2 or 3 positions. This will require him to work on his shooting and handles exstensively because it's a different world and he's not gonna be able to just spot up on the wing in order to get his shot off. He will not be able to act lazy on the court and dominate the same way that he is doing now either. If he works on those things, he might be getting paid to play one day. And from what I've heard, he's gonna be a Volunteer.
  12. Ok, if you say so. I'm not hating on him. He is a decent player. I've just disagreed with some of the comments made about him and the Richland basketball team this year. Good luck.
  13. Whatever happened to Michael Bailey, former first baseman and Quarterback for Chester County? Man, he sure could ball back in the day!
  14. Any NAIA or Junior Colleges looking for a point guard should give Chris Gordon from Santa Fe a look. He'd be a steal for any college coach. I've never seen anyone that wanted to win as much as he did... For information email christopherleeg@hotmail.com [Edited by DickieV on 4-30-03 5:22P]
