Congratulations to the Greeneville Greene Devils!!! After 30+ years of wrestling of PROUD & WINNING tradition started by David Hollowell passed down to Buzzy Mann, then to Bill Brimer, and now Randy Shelton. Greeneville has finally captured their first TEAM state title! Couldn't be more proud. The young men on that team are outstanding people and hard workers. And congratulations to (coaches) Randall Shelton, Justin Myers, and Daniel Crosby for molding them into state champs. GO DEVILS!

So is Austin Mann the only returning state medalist? If so then R1 will probably be down a bit this year. I think R1 will be fine as far as being a "dual" region, but not looking like an "individual" type region like previous years.

Correct me if I'm wrong Cowboy Curtis) - 145 Kole Bishop (Sullivan East) STATE CHAMP - 152 Joe Shipley (Morristown West) 6th in State - 171 Xavier King (Tennessee High) 5th in State - 285 Zach Fleming (Dobyns-Bennett) 5th in State I believe our Region had a Great Tournament and represented our area very well.

We were missing our 145 (Locklear) & 152 (Self) last night.
