  1. Lexington had a tough time with this team last year. I dont think they have enough to win this game. IMO... Lexington will make the playoffs, but beating Sheffield, South Side, and FW is not going to happen....but this experience will be great for the youthful Tigers.
  2. I dont think Cole would have had a hard time finding a starting job on a team that lost most of its starters and all of its starters at LB..... I think maybe they thought it would be better for him to be playing beside Donald.
  3. I thought his son was going to Lexington.
  4. Prayers go out to the family......This is just horrible and hard to believe.
  5. Great article on Chris today........ http://www.jacksonsun.com/apps/pbcs.dll/ar.../606250315/1006
  6. Pretty good. There is hope for you after all.
  7. He's said that he will announce his decision before the season starts.......so we should hear real soon.
  8. I read the article on Beasley also, it looks like he is having a great camp tour too.
  9. How many players does CW return from last years team? I watched them play Lexington last year and they looked real good.
  10. The Ware has always had talent, size, and speed...........they just have never had any direction. Thompson will make them a very legit team, but they will never dominate as his Melrose teams did. You have to keep in mind that he had 4 All Americans at Melrose on 1 team. He coached more NFL players in a 5 year span than most people will coach in a lifetime. Melrose has 5 players in the NFL, only Long Beach Poly Tech has more. That type of talent just doesnt fall in a coach's lap every season. Sure Thompson helped bring it out of the players, but I dont think he will find that much talent again.
  11. Lexington's coaches have not ever said that they wouldn't be good this year. Inexperienced yes, but never not good. They have said that this group of freshmen are better than the group that produced college signees Jonathon DeBerry, Blake Booth, Spencer Taylor, Kevis Buckley and 14 all-region selections last year. I dont think they will win the region, but they will give teams a hard time this year.
  12. I've seen most of the West Tennessee guys that have already been mentioned. I just want to add Artis Hicks from JCM and Jabari Greer from JSS to that list.
  13. Thanks.......like your top 4, just not the order.
  14. I'll have to go with CC. I thought that they had the best chance out of the region last year and I still think so this year. I'm glad somebody mentioned OC. I think they will suprise some people.
  15. Lexington lost a huge amount of skill position players to graduation. I think they are 2 years away from another region title. I'll have to go with Liberty. With Thompson and his FW Wildcats following close behind. .......And guys, before you make fun of my signature..........its there because the Pistions couldn't pull it off against the Heat. I have learned my lesson about betting with coacht posters.
