This program will be in dismay for a long time because it is parents and so called fans in hickville that no very little about supporting your team and coaches and no absolutely nothing about football. This is embarassing. Middle school is not much more than glorified junior pro. If this is what yall want for a coach then good luck. middle school coaches should be assistants at the high school level first and then see how much they think they know.

I have to respectfully disagree. The DC is good and the defense has remained good each year. The year prior to Elrod and Alexander leaving they were good on o. The following year it was bad and very grab baggy. The past 2 years since his return once again they have had great records and been very good on offense. My opinion only.

I dont blame you. Football in Louisiana, texas, georgia, florida etc.. is life. And it is not a good community for football. Administrators there are a joke. Williamson and Rutherford are where you wanna be for football around here.

I do not live in the community and would never put my son in a clarksville school especially for football. I simply read the clarksville football post for comic relief.

Excellent Coach and very deserving of the position. I hope he his players have success 9 times this season. I also hope the best for Coach finley as he is losing a big peace of the puzzle very late. This happens in coaching all the time. Cheathem has a good staff and should be fine.

I do not believe B.C is saying Tenn Chatt can beat Michigan. I believe he is talking about higher level 1AA teams being able to compete with higher level mid majors. There are the rare occasions that a 1AA team has special talent. I can think of some Marshall teams that won 1AA National Championships and were then able to turn that into what 29 straight wins at the 1A level within 3 years. App St was very competitive at LSU 2 years ago. And i can remeber Mcneese in 2001 leading Texas A&M by 7 with about 6 left to play before finally losing by 10. Mcneese led the whole way. Depth proved to be the key in the loss. They simply wore out. I'll give you 3 teams that are usually able to compete not win but compete with some pretty good 1A teams. Montana, Ga Southern and Appalachian State. There are more these just come to mind.

I know Coach Broussard. IMO there is a diffrence when you start talking Big East and SEC type conferences compared to the 1-AA schools. The main diffrence is the size of the lineman and speed of the skill players. Usually 1-AA teams will have several big lineman. As a whole 1-A has many more freak lineman. 1-AA may have 2 or 3 studs up front while filling in holes year to year elsewhere. 1-A has studs and studs in the waiting. 1-AA does stack up very very well with Mid Major Conferences. Once again only diffrence here is number of scholarships. Occasionaly there is a very strong 1-AA team that can play with a big time school. I believe Appalachian State the last 2 years is an example of this.
