  1. CSAS starts 1 senior, a junior, 2 sophomores and a freshmen. They are young but Boyd was definitely better last night. Will be interesting to see how the Patriots respond.
  2. CSAS won 81-64. Got up double digits early. Let their foot off the gas and it was tied at half. Dominated the second half after a few adjustments. Copper Basin is definitely improved especially at home. Thats's a tough place to play. They have a couple shooters and a tough PG.
  3. CSAS travels to Clay County Saturday to take on Sunbright and Clay County. How will these games look? Who wins and why?
  4. It is all District 5. Grace vs. Silverdale and Boyd vs. CSAS.
  5. Whoever comes here for boys will lose to CSAS
  6. CSAS is definately more talented than Boyd. These teams haven't met since early January when Boyd won. CSAS played that game without their leading scorer. CSAS is a very different team now. Yes, I know CSAS laid an egg vs. Grace but maybe that woke them up. Boyd will definately have all the pressure on them. It will be interesting to see how they react to being in an unfamiliar position. They haven't been to the region semifinals in a while. CSAS has been to the region semifinals every year since 2002. They have won 7 of their last 9 region semifinals games since rejoining single A. We will see how it turns out when the lights come on Tuesday.
  7. How does this turn out? Quarterfinals: Sale Creek at Boyd CSAS at Van Buren Whitwell at Grace Silverdale at Marion One side of the bracket is very weak after CSAS being upset in the district. Whoever wins CSAS vs. Boyd wins the region. Should be interesting. I believe it will be CSAS and Grace in the region finals...
  8. They will probably lose to Silverdale in the first round of the region.
  9. District 5 has CSAS and Boyd Buchanan. They seem to be head and shoulders above everyone. District 6 is very weak. Boyd has been very consistent this year. CSAS has not, however CSAS seems to be hitting their stride and with their talent and athleticism should be very hard to beat down the stretch.
  10. I saw CSAS play Watertown in their first game. Watertown seemed to be hitting on all cylinders already. Have they already peaked and are cooling off or have they maintained that level if play?
  11. CSAS handled the bobcats pretty well tonight winning 73-56. What teams might be your Region finalists?
  12. Say what you want about Chatt State being a good move. The atmosphere that the CSAS's gym created over the past 4 best of preps is unmatched in Chattanooga basketball. Sure it may be tight and parking is not great, but the closeness of the crowd and how loud the gym gets...you can't find that anywhere else.
  13. Heard Watertown should be one of the top 4 teams in region 4. I think CSAS will be much better this year. Should be a good one on 3rd Street Saturday at 6.
  14. Hall of Fame Game Saturday @ 6. What can we expect to see from both teams? Could this be a sub-state preview?
