Are they playing the Dresden & Westview game on a Thursday this year?? That game is usually packed.

I'm not getting on the Dresden bandwagon at all, but I am predicting Dresden will make a title run this year. They are going to be solid on both sides of the ball come playoff time.

If you are counting the 2nds on 2nds..Humboldt beat Westview. The 1 to 1 match ups goes to WV. WV and DC tied. I think Dresden has the upper hand for the next 2 years against WV. They have a lot of size and WV is very, very lean on the lines this year. Either way it goes, it'll be a better game than last year and should be close. I still don't think WV takes that game very seriously and they seem to come in to that game like it's a scrimmage or at least they have the last 4 years. Milan and Liberty are probably the powerhouses of the district. Ready for fall!

Both teams will be good come fall. Dresden definitely has an edge and are going to be extremely solid on defense and should win the district. Coach Rang is a great coach and teaches discipline. As far as the "blind" statement...that's not uncommon for fans/folks of Dresden football. It's been an eyesight problem for years, but that's why we love them.

Clarkrange will be tough the next 2 years. Their sophomore post is very good.

Randy Frazier. I haven't heard what the "official" reason is, but I'm sure it'll have something to do with church activities. I also understood from other fans/parents that all four school ADs wanted to play it on Sunday. Hopefully, the tourney will get finished sometime this week--but the forecasted temps don't look too promising. It is my understanding that if the tourney isn't played, the seeding for the region will be the top four of the regular season....and that has come from multiple sources. Hope it gets played...everybody wants a "true" District Champ.

Question....if by some weather "fluke" and 14AA doesn't have an opportunity to finish their district tourney this week due to prolonged weather issues.....does the seeding fall back to the finishing order of the regular season district?? I believe that is the way it has been done in the past.....anyone know?

Obion County and Westview should represent the District come Region time.

MIddleton is still the top team in that district and region. If the season is any indication, they will be tested in Sub State by a very good number 2 team from the other region. Should be a good finish to a pretty bland year so far.

I thought my earlier prediction might fall through, but I'm feeling a little better about it. Top 4-5 teams can beat each other any given night. I still say Greenfield is the team to beat come February..should be a great tourney.

Just a fan of football and don't really care who wins, just want to see a good game. On the broadcast, it looks like after every play --- CPA players are complaining to the refs?? C'mon man...play football.
