Webb has dodged moving up before by neglecting to count 8th graders but had 8th graders making the All-state team.

Give me Harrison Smith from Knox Catholic all day long. NFL All-Rookie team, Six Pro Bowl appearances, has a Hall of Fame worthy NFL career, 4 year starter at Notre Dame. Great size at 6’3” 215.

Luke Smith had the opportunity to skip several steps in the college assistant track. No GA, video coordinator, Director of Player Development, etc. roles to wade thru.

Both Christian Academy of Knoxville and Webb have different principals/ Head of School for middle school and high school but play eighth graders????

Sat with a Supervisor during a scrimmage where they were training and having new officials shadow a veteran official. I jokingly asked him if he wanted me to heckle them to get them ready for real games. He said please don’t because several of these guys have never called a game and they may not come back. Terrible shortage of quality officials.

Not sure Quincy is playing. Didn’t participate this summer to focus on football. You know Q that sometimes they change their mind once football is over….

Per Aaron they were missing another due to injury and the point guard went out in the 4th quarter after diving for a loose ball. Catholic won pretty easily but my concern would be their depth.
