Anybody got a score in the first AA quarterfinal game today? Why isnt it showing in the live stats?

I was at the Erwin-Elizabethton game. Im no coach but when one of your subs scores as much as all 5 starters then Id say you got the wrong 5 starting. 13 points out of 5 starters will not win many games. Erwin played with more intensity and effort. They wanted the game more it appeared.

Some coaches, sadly, coach kids to play dirty, take cheap shots, trash talk, and cuss the other teams players, I witnessed such conduct friday night. No place in high school athletics for classless coaches!!

Candace, no offense but Scott cannot guard Montgomery one on one. Scott is a good defender but she isnt quite the stopper you make her out to be. I bet you are kin to her arent ya!! Good game toppers. Science Hill and Tennessee High are clearly the top two in the big 9. Should be a good game friday. And Candace isnt it a little early to be crowning anyone mvp of anything just yet? Season is less than one month old. Chill hill-scott person, chill.

Not really fair to compare Becca Bowman with her sister. Big Sis played alot of ball against good competiton in junior high and first two years of high school. Not much of a stretch for her to help out as a Sr at Unaka. Lil sis does not have that type of BB background, and while she may end up helping Unaka, it will not be this year. This years team is hitched to the group of talented sophs, Scott and Taylor. Happy Valley will be the surprise this year. Everybody excepts them to fold with Williams and Duncan and Raines gone. Aint gonna happen. I expect HV to challenge for the conference title this year. Elizabethton will be good, but slow, and may have trouble scoring againsts teams that defend the inside game. They are not the best shooting team around.
