king i would like for cross to have not got hurt and i would bet the farm you guys would have lost. clouldland is a good team but with cross i don't see you guys winning that game. this is omething we will never know. jmo

this is true about jordan i talked to his dad today. he is planning on surgury soon. this is bad to happen on his senior year. i know he was looking forward to holding almost every record they have and enjoying his senior year. my prayers go out to him and his family. i will be looking forward to him playing somewhere in college next year.

i watched the game between th and hampton last night. also cloudland and crocket. both teams are good, but i will agree it will be hard for cloudland to beat them. both are scrappers and play agressive. what about university high? the have evans.

you must not know much about cross, from the paper he is about to hold almost every record at east, so to have a off game i don't think it would happen. he had 6 points before going down in the 1st. he also had 35 on crocket earlier in the day.

fulton is good but cater was lucky. 23 attemps to 5 at the line in the east game. if it was callled east by 10. but good luck to both

carter is tough but so is east this year. several different scores for east. carter has 2 bennett and wilson. better be ready for up and down the floor. heard alot about carter be great to see these 2 play. east by 5!!!

if i am correct they also had the experience on winning the conference,district. but it didn't happen this year. it was also east first trip to either. so why would the region be any different? i think east by 10. it will be closer than the last 23pt game

you are either hurt by someone else taking 1st or you weren't aroundthe first time they won a championship. because if it had been almost 4o years since you had i bet the nets were cut and the town may have shutdown. these 2 teams are both good and i expect them to go a long way and will meet more tiimes in the near future. but this time congrats to east.

he might be playing better but not enough to stop east. east wins by 8 or 10. uc can't handle the pressure. uc comes to east tuesday next week for round 2.

i agree cross didn't cause east to win that night but he also didn't cause them to lose. like fisherman1 said earlier a good player shouldn't have to be the leading scorer for his team to win. the player that was mvp of the hardees didn't score many points against central the other night but east still won the game and he is a good player. i think they need to be good at all things of the game and all these players have things to work on to go farther but the conferences at getting ready to start so 3 more months to worry about who is the best!!! good luck to all east tn teams.

first matchup of these 2 could be friday in the hardees classic at crockett if both wins or if both loses from the bracket i have seen. what are you thoughts on this if it happens? i think no more than 5 pts either way.

lord vader i was looking on a web sight that had the 2011 rankings and seen the 3 players from hampton and the 1 player from unicio. from what i have heard clark is gone so that leaves 2 players from hampton. from the rankings ward is 107 and hughes is 123, lyle is 65 and cross is 38. this is from a good source so do you still think these kids are as good as cross? i have seen all play this summer at different aau games but i agree with the rankings. east should play unicio during the season do they play or scrimmage hampton? should be an interesting season. what do you think lyle or cross mvp of season? or other player from different team?

does hampton have any scrimages scheduled before the season gets underway? if so of with and when. i am curious to see how they do without clark.

should do well from last years record in the big 8 and only losing 2 players. could be any player on any night as for a standout palyer could be 3 or 4. would guess they will still play some big8 games. any other thoughts?
