I do not believe he was named the DC on that staff.I think he probably was not sure as far as to what to do with Rankin leaving.Job Security is big,and the weight room guy is usually the 1st to go.I am not sure he ever really wanted to leave Riverdale.I think he was just looking to make sure he had a job,but I do not think he was going to be the DC.I think he was going to coach LB'S and do the weights,but I might be wrong.I wonder if he and Britton still talk??

It doesn't matter what kind of talent they have if they still have the same coaches. Doesn't it??

All that man has done is win football games.Now if he wanted to come to Oakland you would love it.I know it has been said that he lost focus on the kids when he was at Riverdale but I think this year he coached those kids at Alcoa like he did from 90-94 at Riverdale. I think he got his blinders on after winning that first one and he did not care about anything other than winning that GOLD BALL. I think he would tell you that he made a mistake over the last 11 years at Riverdale treating kids the way they are supposed to be treated. Is it just me but those girls look they have been conditioned in the offseason with weights. They all look like they could hold their own. I hope it pays off for them.

I was just wondering if any steps were being taken towards building a promising program. Who else has been hired? Heard could bring two assistants with him?

I think it is people having new opportunities, been at Riverdale a long time and ready to move up the ladder.
