  1. many strong players from jp2 would go to hendersonville otherwise. not to "slam" you nick27 but what players from station camp would be playing for hhs? if anything i think its hurt beech high school more than hendersonville. on paper, hendersonville is one of the most talented anywhere.on the field, however, they dont play as a team. in high school athletics, i'd say 90% of the game is heart and i dont think hhs has it like gallatin, lavergne, wilson central, etc. new schools are built and programs have to fight through that. hhs has done it in the past, coach plummer is a great coach and i think that he will turn his program around.

  6. even though brentwood has a somewhat weaker schedule, i believe they should be ranked a bit higher as well with hendersonville(at least in the top 10).brentwood is still undefeated with a tie to cbhs, so you know that they are atleast in the top 3.

    9-AAA

what teams, besides lavergne, hville, and gallatin are in this district???
  8. it was brentwood hville, b/c i would see these teams actually get to play this year. but now its looking like brentwood could take it easily after hville lost to lavergne last night. i would also like to see farragut vs. christian brothers and mba vs. christian bros.
  9. for curiosity sake, i called my friend from hville as regards to their field dimensions(not to dispute your word)i was there last year and didnt remember it being small. i was just thinking that hville wouldnt have spent all that money on a first class stadium with a small pitch. the dimensions he gave me (he thinks) is 75 yards wide and 120 long. he told me that lavergnes field was somewhere like 55 yards wide and 100 long but he says he could be wrong(due to hearing it from a player and from a view from the stands.) anyways who is lavergnes next game against?hvilles?
  10. talking with a hendersonville parent, they said that the first goal was an iffy pk situation in the first half off of a "handball." they said that the referees were the worst 2(must only have a 2 ref system) they had ever seen. also they said the field was very small which allowed the wolverines to just clear the ball whenever hville tried to force it. he said both goals in the 2nd half shouldnt of been allowed but he didnt tell me why. anyways just a huge upset(could be the biggest of the season.) and congrats to lavergne. id like to see if hville can pull it together and win out through the rest of the season. also, it will be interesting to see how lavergne does with this new sense of confidence after the BIG win. just remember, the 2nd or 3rd game of a season doesnt make or break it.
  11. feverfan, i take it that you play for fever 91. what has happened to them? i havent heard about anything from this team??
  12. MBA is very very good. Darsinos is top notch, and so is MBA's midfield. Hendersonville seemed very lackluster and on their heels the entire game. I dont even think they had more than one shot on goal. Hendersonville had no midfield play and MBA used that against them. As a follower of Middle TN. soccer, I have seen many scrimmages so far. I have seen Brentwood,Hendersonville,BGA,Gallatin,MBA,and PJPII. MBA has looked,to me, as the most prepared team this preseason so far. I see them maybe winning the DII middle and going far in the state tournament. I know many things could happen till then, but just watching right now they look very good.
  13. first off, neither beech nor white house are even remotely the best teams in sumner county let alone middle tn or the state for that matter(including AAA A/AA and Division 2.) these arguement between you all is laughable at best when there are posts about brandon tarr in the same thread. i have never heard of this zach trabough kid. what "d1" schools are looking at him?? the top 3 programs in sumner county are JPII,Gallatin, and Hendersonville. by the way what number is zach trabough??
  14. just remeber, the season hasnt even started.heck most scrimmages havent.alot can change. but i see where you are going. are the state schedules out yet?
  15. bearden beats hendersonville 1-0 in the 69th minute. wow what an upset. i had hville going all the way this year.
