First half Overton really played well and had Brentwood on their heels. In second half Overton tried to protect their one goal lead and got too conservative in my mind and had their midfielder hurt( tackle from behind). Overton goalie made some good saves but let the tieing goal got thru his hands. The game was at Brentwood so no it was a bad field thing. Overton is full of seniors this year and if they are ever going to get thru that distrcit this probably has to be the year.

Yeh but the thread was on one game not winning the district so whether they can get thru all those teams in a tourney is irrelevant. Just saying dont judge them by past years. In the past Brentwood has beaten Overton easily. This year they scored very late to get a tie. Just making sure everyone remembers last years team has no bearing on this years team. Good luck to both as we wouldnt meet either until Sectionals if we can make it that far so I have no real care either way.

Just curious if you played them this year or if this is your opinion based on previous years. We play them every year and they are better this year than they have been. Doesnt mean they will win but dont just dismiss them on past performances.

Yeh but how many other counties could say think if we only had one or two schools. Has Ravenwood,Independence, and Centennial opening up hurt Brentwood and Franklin. How good would that county be with just 2 schools. New schools always pull talent away from existing schools but you cant function well with a high school built for 1500 with 3000 in it. I wish you luck in rebuilding your programs though.
