Gordonsville did the same and had a penalty that killed them. G-ville dropped two balls back to back that could have been returned for 6 and one late in the game that could have sealed the deal, but.....if if's and but's were candy and nuts we'd all have a Merry Christmas. Both teams had their chances to make plays and make the outcome of the game different. The Owls found a way to win. Both teams played extremely hard. Hope the Tigers build on this and carry it to Friendship. Good luck to the Owls vs. LA

Your right Queeny. He is the nicest, politest, and toughest kid I know. I know that the other kids on the team love him. Jose will have some big games this year. If some minor things are corrected in the line, he'll be a superstar. He was being hit at or behind the line of scrimmage too much. If their recievers catch more passes Johnston could be a superstar. I wonder how many drops they had?

I can wait till next year if I have to. If I'm ever at a SC game this year, which I will probably attend another one, I will give you a heads up.

C'mon King.......you of all people ought to know I know a little about G-ville football and basketball too. Senior class......yelp. Know most of them.....both sides. I know Brad, Chaz, J.D.,Turner, Zach, Talon, Storm, and on and on. ,But also know Jrs., Soph., Fr., 8th, 7th,a nd a few 6th graders.......again.....both sides. I assume you think I'm a parent of one of the Srs. (although thinking of those parents I can't figure out which one). I dont know what to think lol

Yelp, that's right ...........We don't have a 25 year old gold ball....................The only thing we have had to brag about the last 25 years is consistantly kicking the crap out of the team that does have a gold ball. The only thing I can say is that SC doesn't have one to use as a crutch. After a lose, SC can't run and get that thing out and say. "You may have beat us...... but at least we got one of these." Better to have won a Gold Ball than never at all correct?

Our Freshmen aren't bad either, or our sophomores and juniors for that matter. Our seniors are alright as well. We just don't have enough of them. That being said, 21-20 Gville. The jr. owls looked pretty good tonight. QB looks alot like his cousin out there wearing that #12....lol. I was impressed with the RB's, look real fast.

You must not have seen the talent Gordonsville had the past 2 years in Jr. High. The now freshman didnt lose a game in 2 years. Beating up on the Middle School to I believe. I know things change once you get to High School but I dont think the streak will last much longer IMO. SC may have a good group of kids coming up, I'm not saying they dont, but G-ville has a good group as well. Several of them will be at SC. I don't claim to know alot about basketball..... I can claim to be an SC grad and that has nothing to do with who I pull for. If I didn't coach over here I would still pull for SC. I coach over here now, who else should I be for? I didn't pull for anyone but SC when I played and coached there. I still pull for the Owls when they don't play Gordonsville. I know JR. High is a small indication, that is why I said.... "things change when you ge to high school." SC has won the county basketball tourney once in the past 5 or 6 years. They won it 2 years ago and before that the last time was when Patrick played there. I guess Gordonsville forgave my dad for coaching at SC, don't know who you are, but doesn't bother me at all if you write me off or not. And I believe there are Owl faithful who understand I still have black and gold in me and always will. Blue just happens to go better with the Blue Devils.
