  1. Southside over Chester Co Chester Co. should take the forfeit so the score can remain a respectable 1-0. I predict the waterboy to have 3 tackles and the managers to have 2 TDs a piece for Southside. Some Denmark Elementary students may get in to show us the talent Southside has coming up. Bolivar over FW ******************************************************* that means that chester co. is going to score early becaues they plan on hurtin most of the 1st team early ******************************************************************************** ***** [
  2. Chester County Eagles. They were tough last year, and could be tougher this year. They will surprise a few.
  3. Thanks for your advice. We will check into it further. If you know contacts, I'd appreciate it. She'll be 11 in November.
  4. My family is new to the Henderson area. We have a daughter that will be 11 years old in November. Since the Dixie Youth League here is below her competition & playing levels, we are looking for a team in the area for this Fall. The League here in Henderson would not let her "PLAY UP" in the next league (We have been told for their own hidden agenda.), therefore, we feel like she has regressed. We would like to keep her at an "Above" or "Excellent" level. American Eagles (from Lexington) were interested & called, but the age cut off date was a problem. Does anyone have any suggestions??? Please help us!
  5. Does anyone know if the Head position has been filled???????
  6. True about the athletes! I wouldn't play them regardless of what grade they were in (if they were just there for show or status). You have to want to play. Don't take away from the other players just to pacify the show horses. There are some that play the whole four years of high school because it is their desire/ hunger for football. Don't short those players. It is unfair, and they have been dedicated the whole time. I know it happens. I have seen some schools play 1st year seniors ONLY because they were seniors (even in other sports). This is so wrong to the DEDICATED players that have been there through the whole journey. A good coach does what is right, and for the most part, the coach will do what is best for the team.
  7. I would say "YES" only if the HEAD coach is reasonable enough to adhere/ listen to any new input. Sometimes, they don't. Sometimes, they do. On the other hand, sometimes, a new assistant MIGHT be afraid to suggest new input for fear of stepping on the HEAD coaches toes.
  8. Good, because time is essential. Football season will be here. YES!!!!!
  9. With you wishing luck. Does it mean Coach Bradley got the Head Coaching position? Just curious. I do agree. Both Coach Rice and Coach Bradley are nice people.
  10. I didn't know the Aldridge coaching staff; however, I've heard good and bad. For the most part, good. Maybe, things can get turned around, but everyone knows that PCHS is a Basketball school. Maybe now, with a new Superintendent, things will be different. Who knows? I guess the job posting was the definite answer to whether or not Rice is leaving.
  11. If Rick Rice is leaving Perry County, who will be taking his place? I read on a Waynesboro topic that Gil Webb has been interviewing for 6 weeks, but where is the job advertised at? There is nothing on TSSAA. Will it be Bronson Bradley, or will they bring someone new in?
