  1. you are correct about that hoya. i dont think catholic is going to take anyone lightly after what happened to us last year.
  2. uniden, i could make that happen for tomorrow nights game if you really wanted to complete the picture. if the parents let me escape the relatives for a while i might make an appearance to the game. except this week i wont be covering the game.
  3. both farragut and west played a great game last night and it is disappointing to see one of these two teams lose and be eliminated. that was the best finish to a game in a long time. it would have to be up there with joey saving those pks against cak last year. congratulations and good luck to west
  4. as of now it is not.
  5. i think catholic will win this one 3-1. i will be attending the game and am expecting a normal cak/catholic game. i also get to cover the game for the west side shopper so atleast soccer will get some acknowledgment. luckily i know where catholic is so we wont have to worry about the game not being covered as well as when you dont go. the weird part will be after the game when i have to get some players and the coaches' opinions on the game becuase i know some of them really well. good luck to both teams and lets hope this rain holds off.
  6. i guess catholic really do have stones number because for the three times they have played in the last two years catholic has scored 25 goals to stone's 0 goals.
  7. the final score of the game was 3-2 west. west scored their first goal on a pk. both teams look ready for the postseason.
  8. i am going to go with catholic but i will be a close game. this game always brings the best out of the two teams. from personal experience i think that the defences will step up and it will be a one goal game to either team.
  9. anyone know the score to the game yet?
  10. i know i am definitely going to both. i mean what else could i do on a friday night? the only bad thing is that i would have to pay for both unless bigG is willing to let me in for free. both games should be good ones
  11. i havent been on coacht in a while and because of that i was unable to post about the bearden/ catholic game. also in the game brian beckham and zach wegryn did not play at all in the game. i have been told that it is because they missed the three others games in the bearden tournament because they were on spring break so they were being punished for it. i also heard that alex widmer did not play. anyone know why?
  12. what was the score of the catholic game? also brian beckham was missing as well
  13. i think that the bearden vs. catholic game has been changed to monday instead of sunday. which is good because catholic would be missing a few of their starters
  14. for cak- luke bonawitz and derosa is not that good of a keeper. i mean i think a monkey or maybe even a fish could do a better job than him. but seriously joey is one of the best small keepers in tennessee. there might be some better keepers than him but they also could be 6 inches to a foot taller than him. i have seen joey make some pretty impressive saves over the many years i have played with him at catholic and against him in club. beaver is also good. he has improved incredibly since the first time i played with him in club when we were 11. actually back then he was a midfielder. he has improved immensely with his footwork and his poise. he used to get down on himself when he would allow a goal and now he just moves on. thats what you have to do to be a good keeper is forget the bad things and just move on
