  1. CAK wins by a couple touchdowns. Yes, I think Oliver Springs is a pretty good 0-5 team. However, CAK can run the ball along with the pass, but more importantly the defense is playing lights out right now. Haven't given up a point in two weeks and OS's offense hasn't looked steller this year.
  2. They have a field at their school now. It is a temporary field until the permanent field gets built, but it is still pretty nice.
  3. CAK dominated this game from the opening kickoff. Offense did whatever they wanted all night, and the defense allowed maybe 2 first downs. The Warriors are looking really sharp right now
  4. With their win over McCallie tonight, I don't know how you could possibly pick against them winning state in 2A. They won't face a team tougher than McCallie the rest of the year, no doubt about it.
  5. How about the guy who thinks he's Norm Chow and telling everyone what the offense and/or defense should be running and it's the dumbest crap ever.
  6. One big win and you're already looking to Farragut? Farragut should be better than last year imo. And the mental block that sets in on a team where nobody playing has ever beaten the other team is hard to overcome. (just ask farragut about oak ridge) Anything could happen though, that's why they play the games.
  7. Went to Mt. Juliet and beat a team 41-14 that beat them last year. Nobody has been giving this team a chance but I'm here to tell ya, this team will compete in 1A. Great coach and the kids busted their tails this off-season and are now reeping the rewards.
  8. einstein was pretty smart and never finished high school either, so thats probably over-rated too
  9. Its a new TN sports website with local player interviews and sports abroad. just started couple weeks ago by buddy of mine
  10. Don't be surprised if Grace Christian jumps up and surprises a few people this year. They have implemented a weightlifting program for the first time ever and are showing big strides. they have a good nucleus of players coming back from last year. not saying they'll win the region, but they'll definetely turn some heads
  11. i believe farragut is the only other local team attending
  12. there actually is a difference between being a preferred walk-on and just a regular walk-on. ncaa div. 1 teams are only allowed to invite 105 players to camp. obviously, the 80-sum scholarship players are invited leaving roughly 20 walk-ons that are invited to fall camp. about 3 or 4 weeks later after camp the rest of the walk-ons are allowed to practice with the team. getting invited to camp as a walk-on makes you a 'preferred walk-on'. reveiz was also named the first ever player of the month on ryans locker room. there is a interview with him here http://www.ryanslockerroom.com
