neither was bumbi's 2-mile state record but it counted anyway. jackie also broke her own 100H record so hopefully that counts too. the TSSAA is going to have to start excepting that with how rapidly the quality of TN track has grown in the last few years and is still growing, most people will be running state records outside of TSSAA events. i really hope they accept it
haha yeah screw TSSAA
James flat out owns and he gets both state records... who cares what those idiots think

QUOTE(bwoodrunner @ Apr 17 2007 - 11:41 AM) 826439419[/snapback]A different ballgame for sure, but Sean is a MUCH better track runner than he is a cross country runner, so I don't know what you are trying to say. Noone will touch Keveren or Berry in the 3200 at state. Berry will for sure take it out hard, and as a teammate of Sean's I know he has said that he will not let the pace lag. This will string out the competitors very quickly. I think it will be a battle of the ages and one of them may have to go under 9:10 to beat the other.
this will be solved may 5th
will be the best race in tennessee this year thus far.. by a long way

Etowntrack21,
I have not even really taken notice to exactly what you are trying to argue ... but i just thought you should know that the next time you say something completely ridiculous or controversial you could AT LEAST SPEAK IN ENGLISH.

So Keveren is so good but a stomach cramp is grounds to give up??? It looked like Adams was scared to race Keveren to me. You guys need to get off the bandwagon and realize all the good runners do not come from Brentwood.
Berry was planing to be in this race all year so dont think it was you who made him. Last, berry does not have a coach if anyone is paying attention. His coach is more like a manager who dosent really know anything about running. Even if berry does not win he is not the runner to be scared of whimps who have coaches wiping their ###### and making excuses everytime they screw up. I dont see you guys up their with him.
ya next time you have a stomach cramp that makes you not be able to breathe and you are already a FULL MINUTE in the lead, you can talk
why should he risk injury(yes running too hard on a cramp can cause that) when he is dominating???? o and actually all(ok well most) good runners do come from bwood in case you didn't get the memo yet
and yes i understand berry doesn't get well coached, and i respect his talent nonetheless, and in case you didn't know it there was some sarcasm in my past posts... im just glad he did joined cause its going to be a great race
keep in mind though state is in 2 months and things will change, and that berry beat surrel last year in this race, so though its an important race, things will change

There will be a battle with Keveren, I think, and I would say Adams will be there, and Chandler may be there, but you are missing more than a few who will also play: Cole (9:45 3200 last Saturday in a tt), O'Donnell (9:49), Sonnenfeldt, Young, Fassino, Sharber, DuPlessis. That's a stacked Gold Boys race.
coniglio... no hes not resting, he is running in a crap race cause he is scared
and no keveren and adams don't race 9:45 guys, they rip through their carcasses and stampede their bloodied corpses while running classically through a deserted wilderness of pain known as steeplechase....they aren't even in the same league, and this will be demonstrated saturday

Yes. The 16:42 was at the Battle of Brentwood. He had a stomach cramp around mile 2 and coach told him to bring it in easy.
But Berry is looking really good this year.
maybe so ...but guess what he's doing this weekend?? sharp springs invite or something like that??? as far as im concerned, it should be called the "Sharp springs im afraid to race sean keveren invitational"
they need to got at it... but i guess a keveren, adams, chandler battle will suffice
