I think Henry County out of west tn has improved a great deal over the past few years.

I cannot believe my eyes. The incredible YANKER is basing someone's knowledge on how he uses words and structures his sentences. Yes it is proper for someone to use nouns, verbs, pronouns, and so on and so forth correctly but what difference does it make? What a person knows about the english language cannot give an insite into their knowledge of any other subject. I would like for you to speak to the vice principal of my school, Mr. Geller. This man speaks the language in such a way that half of the students in his classes (when he was a teacher, I had him) do not understand what he is saying. He might be able to teach the All-Knowing YANKER a few things. I am disappointed in you yank. Oh and by the way, please do not scrutinize my use of the language, I am merely a senior in highschool and have not obtained the knowledge you have.

HC will be scrimmaging Covington on May 4th. It will be at Covington.

JCM coming first in the region is a hilarious thought. It will not happen. HC will lead the region, and if JCM plays their best every single game, they might come second.

I hope JCM does well but they will have to settle for second in the region, next to HC.

Well, we are in the count down. We are ready. I hope anyone attending the game a safe trip. Our defense is a stopper, don't under estimate us. We're number 1.

What is your problem? What has HC ever done to you? Sounds like some bitter history surfacing.

I hope everyone keeps underestimating HC. It will come back to bite you in the behind. I hope Hillsboro doesn't take us lightly because I want us to beat them at their best.

I never could understand the strong scheduling before, but now I understand. If you make it to the playoffs with a few losses against highly rated teams, all the "undefeated" teams with not so strong schedules, tend to take you lightly. Great coaches understand the psycholoy behind this sort of thinking, and it is being proven to be right. I would certainly like to hear other's comments regarding this. Go Henry County Patriots!!!

I am not hcrocks, but he is signed on to my computer. I have been watching this same group of boys play football together since they were 8 yrs old. When these seniors were freshmen(ie, true freshmen, not soph, or jrs), they only lost one contest in that season 4 years ago. That was to Dickson Co. The coach lost that game, by shotgunning his offense. McNairl was so tired in the 4th that he was literally tripping over his own feet. They were good then and they are much better now. Please underestimate them. It will serve them with excellence. Why do you suppose MurpheyFair had them rated #1 in the 4A polls preseason? Think about it. I love to read all of these posts, then go back and reread them after the game is over. I'm sure the post game posts will be just as entertaining Sat am. Look for an upset Hillsboro, HC has beat the 3 top Memphis teams, 1 Nashville team is no big deal.
