  1. I've waited a long time to see TC at the Dungeon. This should've been scheduled 10 years ago, way before they were forced into this ridiculous region. By the looks of it though, if TC brings their radio broadcast team, they'll be congratulating their newly elected superlatives in the 4th(and not talking football) just like MTCS. I wish I were joking. I hope JB steps it up.
  2. 104.5 went live to the MTCS radio broadcast at the start of the 4th. The conversation was about their newly elected superlatives. That wraps up my summary of tonight's game.
  3. Very low. You have to go back to at least '04 to see when JB last had a 3 game losing streak. This team is going to have to learn how to put a complete game together and win together. I thought they had plenty of chances to win against WHH, but never took advantage of opportunities. CA is going to be riding on the high of a big win last week and will have all the confidence in the world at home on the river bank. JB needs to play to General Neyland's Maxims...and the first 3 maxims are a good place to start.
  4. Take one part of exactly what Moto said, add an equal part of being constantly busy at work, and throw in a nearly 2 year old mini-Shep and...voila!... you get a busy Shep that doesn't want to take the time to post about Red Devil shortcomings so far this season. Wingman is correct, winning makes it fun but don't take me not posting as being "fair weather." I would also like to set myself up to be more involved in the future kind of like GreenMan from Collinwood did with their program, so I have cut back in that respect as well. But since you missed me, I'll post more!

  9. "Cookeville is doing a good job, so for now everything seems positive about being there." Everything "seems" positive??? FAIL
  10. Could TSU handle it? I have no idea, never been there, but I thought they just recently renovated their stadium.
  11. Nothing humorous here. You build it because of what it brings to you. For example, do you think the Preds would be playing in Municipal Auditorium? I understand your point as far as citizens of Nashville paying for a new stadium and I agree that they shouldn't pay for the majority. In a perfect world out of towners would, ownership would, corporate sponsors would. Nissan is a big deal in TN. Wouldn't you think they would like to thier name plastered all over all over a stadium during a Super Bowl? Maybe that last one is far fetched, maybe not. I'm sure LP would like their name out there like that too. Regardless of the current burden on taxpayers, I don't think it's a long shot that a new stadium is something that will be coming within the next 20 years.
  12. Not with hotel taxes and the revenue generated by having a new convention center. SEC and NCAA championships locked in make the town more visible. Factor that into all the other ways hotels get booked every weekend and a stadium gets paid for by visitors as well as Nashville residents and the Bud Adams family. Add that together and landing the super bowl would put Nashvegas in a whole new category compared to similar cities.
