  1. Blackman has a couple of really good freshman coming up next year. One of them was undefeated and won Mid-State last year and did not go on to run at state so we don't know what he could have done. I know I'm a little biased but I think he will win Region 4 AAA this year, not that its the most competitive region but still good for a freshman. Maybe better than Berry in the long run??? Even with me and Berry gone I think next year will be Blackman's best year as a team ever. I would not say they are in contention for state but I think they might scratch the top five. We have 3 solid returners, the freshman, and hopefully we can get Drew Thompson to quit messing around at Oakland and come over to Blackman....
  2. I think the 3200 will go sub-9:10. Keveren can't save anything for a triple. Berry is close to that now and Keveren has already ran sub-9:10 so I know they will both be there by the time state comes around.
  3. I can only do distance predictions but feel free to add other events. 3200: 1st- Berry or Keveren but its going to be sub-9:10 2nd- Chandler 3rd- ???? 1600: 1st- Keveren 2nd- Berry 3rd- I think it will be close between Me(Adam Cunningham), Chandler, Sonnenfeldt, and that Oak Ridge Kid (sorry I dont know his name). 800: duh Hopefully Berry and Keveren will push the pace in the mile and we can all get under 4:20.
  4. I wanna know what the state record is in the steeple and what does it take to shatter it. I've heard is was somewhere around 6:15. Thats 5 minute pace. I think a couple of people in the state are capable of beating that right now, assuming they can jump barriers and water faily well. Who is running it on May 5th at the Milner race at Vandy?? Can anyone break the record, and if they did would anyone care??
  5. Yea sorry, I dont mean to count those guys out in any way, I was just trying to bring up the whole "Berry/Keveren" debate once again since it seemed like such a big topic back in the XC season. But as far as those guys go I would put my money on Chandler having the best chance of being on top in the 3200 and I'm looking for Sonnenfeldt to really make the 1600 interesting this year.
  6. So, now that the we are in the middle of the season I want to know what everyone thinks now. From what I have heard Keveren has ran around 9:36 in the 3200 after running a five minute first mile. Berry ran 9:24 for the full two mile last week in Mobile. He came out with a P.R. in indoor running 9:28 for the conversion to 3200. I have not seen any results from Keveren in the mile. I know Keveren is coming off an injury so im waiting to see what he'll do. What does everyone else think??
  7. Yea, but the top 5 or so...
  8. Im just interested to see who everyone thinks will be the fastest 1600 runners this year in the state...
