I’d like to see ER OC grow a little as a play caller. He’s almost handcuffing himself by not being creative and getting his speedy play makers in space where they’re the most dangerous with the ball. I get he had a freshman under center, with what he’s got coming back and the experience gained he’s got to open it up if he wants to win the gold ball.

Man you’re salty as a country ham. You’d be really PO’d if they’d won the gold ball.

This made me laugh picturing a grown man sitting starring at the TV trying to comprehend what he just saw

Spent many a night in Sneedville, had family friends up there, and I know what rural is. They may not be mountain rural but they are both small country communities.

One or these two teams will win its school’s first state championship in football tomorrow. Hoping for a clean, hard hitting, injury free, close game tomorrow. These two teams representing, small town, rural communities is what 1A and 2A ball is all about. Safe travels to all attending tomorrow, and good luck to both teams.

I think ER will have the same problem especially with the slant. They’ll be committed to stopping the run and I think it’ll open up opportunities across the middle for Riverside. Their QB can is pretty good at that from what little I have seen. It will be interesting how ER’s DC schemes for that.

I’ll give you my thoughts now. They’re a really great football team. Solid balanced offense with a great QB, hard running RB and talented receivers. Defense is really good too. D-line is the second best ER has faced all year, Smith County’s was better imho, LB’s are going to be toughest they’ve seen, and secondary is better than average. Overall the experience of playing in the championship last year will play in their favor. Make no mistake they are the favorites, but East is the more talented team.

What’s going to win this football game is Jimmy’s and Groves…..ER has a Jimmy or two and a lot of Groves

I never said they couldn’t be beat. You’re the one who mentioned weak schedules and said most people on the east side of the bracket didn’t know what a good football ball team was. Sorry we all can’t be football guru’s like you flatlanders

If you’re such the football guru then why discount ER? If you can’t see how talented they and good they are then you sir, don’t know jack about football.
