  1. maybye i miss read the tenneasean the other day, but i thougt i guy from bwood hit 14 three's in the indy game, i think they said his name was shuamaocker or something. i could be totally wrong on this one
  2. time for someone from 11-AAA to chime in... Franklin has been a good team the last several years, and this district aint garbage. Franklin is in a rebuilding year, having lost several of their top seniors, will probably still finish towards the top. Inpenedence is early favorite to take the division, and i would consider them one of the best in the midstate. Cetennial will also be a strong contender for regions this year (not saying this cause i go there, just tellin it like it is) they played well against Indy, and got beat late. They got Franklin this friday then well all see just how good either if these 2 teams are. as for all the other schools mentioned, i cant/wont comment on those, cause i dont follow a lot ball played outside the Williamson County, unless we play em. BTW centennial railed marshall county 83-59 tonight.
  3. i thought at one point the intire county was open zone, just no one knew it cause the county never made it public, cause they didnt want to deal with the paperwork
  4. ben mix is sidelined with a fractured foot, and will be out for a few more weeks. another name i havent seen mentioned is Preston Stroop, he's a 6'3ish shooting guard, but also plays alot down low. hed be like a Drew Kelly combined with a Patrick Byrd. he transferred to CHS from FCS where he lead the leauge in PPG (averaged around 29) right now hes inilligable cause not all of his credits transferred over, so once he taked a few test, he'll more than likely start. centennial should finish top 3 this year
  5. CoachT ive noticed youve been shuting down a lot of threads lately, i was just wondering as to why this might be. i am espically interested in wondering why the "Big News at Centennial" was shut down??
  6. excuse me for not responding sooner, i was out having a life, while you spent your Sunday on coachT. and CHS2007..lol, thanks for you input, made me laugh!! "princess" to answer yout question. Gregory was inadequate to change, his offense worked in 02-04, with a sightly above average line (weight wise). these past two years he ran the same offense with O-line that averaged i believe 180LBS. somewhere you would think he might reliaze change is in need, and to his credit he did, but too way late for it to matter. he was unable to inspire his players to play when they were down early. NO ONE LIKED HIM, you find 1 person who played football for him and liked him, ill give you dollar. "cool in class" do you smoke crack? let me tell you what class is...respecting your players, respecting your other coachs and your school, not hiding behind your desk when parents wonna know why their child invest so much time and life into a team, a losing one at that, and they still dont play, class is showing up in the locker room at half time when your team is down 20 something points (indy game, Gregory was seen the concesion stand line all of halftime). class is not keeping recuirtment letters from your star players, is not a 1-9 season with nothing to say for it, class is not treating students like crap during school, class is not finding fault in others, but standing up and takin it yourself. anymore questions? until you have something worth talking about i would advise you dont post again, and stop causing controversy on this thread, thats all youve done since you started posting, and one other thing stop hiding behind your computer and tell all of us who you are, and why think your special enough to trash every one here. you have no respect or credibility on this board!!
  7. daggumit...i did it again the above was posted by me c-c-chs08, accidently logged in as CHS2007
  8. i have some new news, thats not really surprising but worth mentioning. Gregory will no longer be AD after the Christmas break. we all new it was coming, but still... No names yet in who could possibly take this spot, i would guess in the mean time Lifsey will oversee the athletics deptmartment, or mabye even one of the parents.
  9. with time...time is running out for Chase next year is his senior year. and every week the school goes not having named a head a coach is a week of preperation, and week gaining respect and trust in the new coach lost. Theres not alot of time, for him to have to learn a new offense.
  10. RED...very well said!! i agree with everything you said also it does no one, any good to sit hit hear agru about who the new coach will be, pointing fingers about whos right whos wrong, who won and who didnt. all this finger pointing and arguing does nothing but show ingnorance and immaturity CHS07, heres an idea next time your walking to the hall and hear coach drop a name to another teacher, dont run straight to coachT and tell everyone, get your facts, to back up what you heard!
  11. thanks for the response coach we'd miss you guys to much if you left!! and we (the fans) will be behind the cougars until like you said "they lock us out" and trust this coach, we'll be just as loud and supportive if not more for bball as were for football
  12. it has...the Williamson AM, and the Williamson Harlod
  13. i wont restate whats all ready been stated, but i will say...dont be surprised if gregory does remove himself (i am saying he resigns, not gets fired) as AD and/or teacher at Centennial before or right the end of the school year. with that being said i believe, it be in the schools best interest to find an AD thats not a coach, i believe theres to much room for curruption if you will, like gregory not allowing mutlisport athletes...thats something centennial is going to have to do if they want to turn the intire program around. i also wouldnt be surprised if Foley, Kelly, and Finney are removed from their football coaching postions, pending they allow the new head coach to bring in his own assitant coaches, and again a move Centennial will need to make to turn the program around!
  14. another thing about the "adequate" or lack there of, practice fields that hasnt been mentioned, is that Centennial has a stinkin interstate right off the main field, not mention a future exit ramp right next to the practice field...heres an idea of how close the ramp is to the field, stick your hand out over the fence, and its liable to be taken off by a car!! when that exit ramp is finshed, if someone throws/kicks and airred ball its going to hit a car, and cause a major accident, or vice-versa...someones has a accident on the ramp, car flipps over onto the field injurys a player, of course thats at the most extreme scenario, but it could happen and right now till through i think its summer 2008 they have to deal with construction, all the issues that brings in (i.e. noise, and blasting) i dont know how it is at other schools, but id say Centennial may have the worst facillties of all the schools in the county
