Here is the staff as far as I know (and have heard):

Stevens - Head Coach :D

Miner - O coordinator

Speas - D coordinator and QBs

Spratling - Corners

Layton - O and D line

Adams - D ends

Saunders - Special Teams

Beasley - Tight Ends

Jackson - Recievers

Again, tentative list. Spring Practice (starting Monday) will tell us a lot. Hope to see you out there Earl!

Wow, I'm so ignorant about OR football now...I know who some of the coaches are but who is Adams (Garfied?), Beasley, and Jackson?

Remember the most important game of 2005 is...the first one...Clinton...then we worry about...Bradley Central...and on and on.

pretty good list but there are a few things wrong.

stevens- head coach

miner- o coordinator qbs*

speas- d coordinator linebackers and receivers*

sprat- corners

layton- o line and dts

adams- des

saunders- special teams

beasley- tightends

jackson- rbs and linebackers*

lewis- assisting on both lines*

that is what i have been told by the coaches and this list is just for spring practice after that coach stevens will evaluate the staff and we will know the actual list after spring.

That list makes more sense. Mine came from a player. I'll take the coach's word for it. Regardless, it will be great to see the Wildcats on the practice field Monday!

    • I used to think like that many many moons ago.  I wondered the same questions but learned that it is just not that easy.  Hiring assistant coaches can be complicated at times.  It takes a few years for HC’s to get who they feel is right for their system.  Couple that with good assistant coaches getting better jobs at times and leaving your program. More to it than some think.  I think you have a good coach up there and time will tell that story.
    • okay.  Like i said initially, it's question we have to ask, but we sure don't know the answer yet.
    • You’re right, I shouldn’t jump the gun on it. Hopefully it isn’t related to the sports programs, because it’ll end up affecting a lot of innocent kids who just enjoy playing sports.
    • I totally agree but just don’t want to see people jumping the gun by insinuating it was for athletic reasons. Nobody knows at the moment except for those involved in the incident itself and those investigating.
    • Bruh, That portion of the post was simply a product of my imagination. Try to keep up.  The real purpose of the post was to rub salt in this fresh wound following FF’s departure to BGA.
