Two district champions met tonite at Tullahoma with the 8AAA champion Tullahoma Wildcats defeating district champion Grundy Co, 5-4 in 8 innings at Mathis Field. Grundy Co led most of the game and was within one out of victory in the bottom of the 7th, before the Wildcats rallied to tie. I think this was the final tune-up before each starts tournament play this week-end.

Who was the losing pitcher for Grundy Co.?

freshman Sam Griswald, Dustin Futs throw 2 innings comming out of the game with a 2-0 lead. He also hit a 2 run homer. Sophomore Keagan Christian pitched the next 5 innings comming out with the game tied.Errors in the outfield might of cost Grundy this game. Great tune up for the District Tournaments coming up.
