Best Goals of The Year

I'm gonna say that Sam Ferguson's (CAK) free kick against Seymour in the District Finals that put CAK up 2-1 was the best that I saw this year. It was a direct kick that was about 25-30 yards out that he put into the upper 90 of the right side. thumb

I didn't see Fergy's goal, but G said it was beautiful. Since I didn't see it, my vote would be Daniel Kelly's goal vs. Bearden in the state semis. On the indirect free kick, a player scooped it straight in the air and Kelly volleyed it in. To even put it on goal is amazing, much less scoring. Also, Bennett Giles of CAK had a nasty strike vs. PF in the substate game. Left footed I think from about 25 out into the top corner.

you have got to be kidding me, kelly's goal against mcminn was amazing but our keeper was in front of the ball before it even reached him and it hit his arm going slow and bounced in, it was a fluke goal by all means.

In the game between LA and Friendship Christian, FC got a direct kick at the top of the box. He put it perfectly in the upper left V, nobody could do it more perfectly..

I agree my friend. The keep should've saved it. I am from East TN and a Knoxville soccer supporter, but there was no one on the field that could stop Kelly.

Eddie Yah goal against Maryville was a good one. The ball came crossing from the right and he deliver it fast with a side bicycle kick.
