I'm new to keeping up with CC so I'm not sure who is very good other than in NE Tennessee.

What about the rest of the state and how do these picks stack up against the best everywhere else?

1. FRA

2. Page (remember they beat Elizabethton)

3. Elizabethton

4. CCS

my thoughts on these teams... I've seen them all in action

 

1. FRA - it looks like they've peaked with an average time of 17:15.... they're #5 guy ran like a 17:50..... I think they've peaked. lots of teams do for the TN classic

2. Page - this is a team to watch for. they are extremely quick and have the fastest A/AA runner.

3. Elizabethton - this team is always good so just plain watch out

4. CCS - this team is LOTS better than anyone thinks... they aren't close to peaking... so make sure you watch out for them

5. CPA - they've got some stuff to work on... but they will be up there by the end of the season

I'm not sure who is better but I've decided to give my a/aa predictions for the state meet

 

1. CCS - as I said before this is the surprise team... 4 seniors and 1 freshman in their top 5. the 5 and 6 guys are both seniors. 6 seniors and 1 freshman... this team is hungry after coming up short 3 years in a row

 

2. Elizabethton - simply because they're always up there

 

3. FRA - really good team

 

4. Page - this team does well at the TN Classic but usually falls late

 

5. CPA - decent team but doesn't have the talent to keep up with the top 4

Are you talking about girls CC? If you think DB is better than Science Hill in boys then you are sadly mistaken. DB may be fourth or fifth in the district behind SHHS, Daniel Boone, David Crockett, and maybe South.

Page has a good team, dont count them out. And of course FRA and Etown will be up there too as they always are. I dont know much about CCS, they could be pretty solid.
